2nd time visiting and 100% great experience since arrival again. Warm welcome and l have been experiencing that the staff really care about their guests. This lodge has great facilities, great food and a bar with variety, wildlife to see all the time; from your room, campsite and in boat trips; elephants, hippos and much more. It is unique to the absolute nature and peaceful quite environment.

Over the years we have camped & "bugalowed" with small & large groups & have found Mahangu to be the best value for money by far, none of the other lodges come close. It has the best boats, deck & bar backed up by a great kitchen and professional team.
Can't wait to go back.

very nice decorated rustic main building and bar. camping site was really in the jungle. highly recommended. hippos can be spotted and heard in the night easily :)

I stayed three nights at the end of last June. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Food was really good and the staff was very helpful and professional. Special thanks to the boat driver, with his help got many excellent photos of the birds.

It's was great hospitality and our 2 day was fantastic. It rained a lot for a week in January so we had rain in Kgalagadi Pans at Maun
and at Mahangu. The Mahangu game reserve is really fantastic and we will be back again.
