  This post was meant for Manta da Barra and not Barra Beach Resort. This is not luxury, but if you want a rustic island getaway, Manta da Barra is affordable and has a great atmosphere. Bungalows are basic, so you must bring your own linen. Locals deliver fresh bread and fruit daily. Nice sparkling clean pool. Beaches are beautiful, clean and quiet. You are allowed to drive on the beach to drop off your beach gazebos, chairs etc. Lots of markets where you can buy local produce including seafood. Amazing holiday destination.
