Excellent place to visit and enjoy with the family and friends, the view of the city is amazing and is a good place for great memories taking pictures. Cholula in a few words is Amazing. The history of the city in unique and super interesting.

Great place to visit! When we first got there we went straight to the tunnel and walked under the pyramid. A very long walk through it, if your clostrophobic you may not want to do it, it's a long walk,but there is lights inside. As soon as we got out the friend of ours who lives there showed me there are pieces of pottery all over the grounds there on the surface. I was finding pieces of red pottery right away I ended up getting a hand full. It is a very large area bring sunblock and a hat if you have one.

Many things to do. Shop, eat, or simply just walk around. I love this place. When I go all I do is shop. They sell so many things from jewelry to cloth.

Awesome history!! Where comfortable shoes and clothing. Take the pyramid tour listen, learn and enjoy. Taking the short hike up to the church, is a must. You will regret it, if you don't go. The inside of the church is Glorious. Please don't believe me, see it for yourself. Be ready to take lots of pictures. If you need to use the restroom, there is one located inside the coffee shop "The Italian Coffee". Very clean and their coffee is delicious. Hope this helps. Enjoy and Stay Classy!

Fantastic place !! Must visit. The climb is steep and a real workout, but the views and the experience definitely with it. The pyramid is located at the base of the church. It's your preference where you start either the pyramid site or the church. We did the climb first and then finished with the pyramid grounds. We went during the week as we were told less people and easier and faster to navigate.

Beautiful place to visit with the huge pyramid under the hill and the monastery on top. (Sadly this last one is in alterations after Sept 2017 earthquake and is closed to visits).

Most interesting part wasn't at the top or church. It was what's underneath. You can walk through the tunnel in the pyramid. It's not an usual activity at all. Very cool experience

Interesting and pretty. The signs could have used more pictures or illustrations as it was somewhat hard to know what buildings or areas they were referring to. Nice place to walk around.

A very interesting place. I paid 70pesos to walk under the tunnels, which I enjoyed. The ticket seller was rude and not helpful, and there is NO INFORMATION ANYWHERE about thsaid history of the pyramid or anything. I speak Spanish and asked the ticket man who offered no help.

The park is nice, I imagine it's more enjoyable when not raining. The sanctuary/church at the top affords a great view. A bit pricey for the tunnels. The church is free , I'm not sure about the archeological zone.

If you enjoy visiting ancient historical sites, you must visit this site during your visit to Mexico. This site dates to before the Spanish conquest and is over a thousand years old.

There is an on site museum for you to learn more about the pyramid. It includes a model of the large complex and lots of other information. It is completely optional, you don't have to enter and can skip going there if you so choose.

The ancient pyramid is an amazing site to behold. It is a gigantic complex and it is amazing that an ancient civilization was able to build such a gigantic structure without advanced machinery. Do keep in mind that it is centuries old and it is not necessarily going to be too visually appealing. However the fact that an ancient civilization was able to make anything of that scale is very impressive. It is dark in there besides a few lights and you must pay to take pictures and videos. However, it is an incredible site and I would recommend visiting.

Amazing place! If you go on Sundays the entrance for the pyramid is free. Lots of food and souvenirs, you won't be disappointed.

One of the best historical place of the country.
Enjoy the view at the top.
Have a guided tour inside the pyramid under the church to understand the history of this great site.
Enjoy also live traditional music (mariachis) at the top, in front of the church!

It's an archeological site, considered as the largest pyramid that exists in the world. On top of this platform is located the "Nuestra Señora de los Remedios" sanctuary.

There is an underground tunnel system underneath a covered pyramid in Puebla. I did the whole adventure of going in through one side of the pyramid and coming out another. It was dark, musty and long. Uneventful, but historic.

If you're into pyramids, then here is the world's largest and they let you walk all over it. Most of the pyramid is covered with earth. Give yourself plenty of time. As with all complicated sites, your experienced will be greatly enhanced by hiring a local guide. Europeans built a church on top of the pyramid. In that church is a statue of the virgin Mary in repose, rather unique.

Largest man made pyramid in the world! And you get to walk through it, through the archeological tunnels! Don't miss the altar for sacrificing children and the small adjacent museum is lovely and included in the price.

The site is wonderful and unique, but there is no accommodations for the disabled persons whatsoever. Our group stayed back due to this, we did not want to leave out our friends with mobility needs. However, we were able to enjoy it from a far and have an excellend time hearing the archeological and ethnographic explanations about it. We would highly recommend this place after issues with accessibility being addressed. 2☆are given ONLY for this reason.
