Great place for FOOD! And events. Had our wedding here recently and everything was AMAZING. Staff is super diligent and accessible. Highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I found this place while driving around. Its right on the water and you get access to the beach and pool if you buy a drink and entree. The food was very good. The prices were a little higher than we were used to paying in pesos but we had our feet in the sand and went right in the pool after. We would visit here again.

What a lovely place for lunch, enjoying authentic and decent Mexican food. Although we need to wait quite a long time, but the food was attractive and delicious. It is a must to order their signature cocktails or beer to enjoy the great view of Caribbean Sea.

WOW! This place is bomb! We didn't stay at a place with beach access, No worries though, it gave us an opportunity to check out more cool locations on the Island that we may have missed.

Let's start with the beach it wasn't the best.

The location great, 50 feet from the road, was quiet. No honking, no yelling, no worries.

To the best of my memory when you enter you come into a large area which has a restaurant and two bathrooms on the right hand side a few more feet in your in a large Hall dance room area with a bar at the edge of the floor.

Beyond the bar is the area on the beach with tables chairs lounge chairs and Beds which is about 20 feet from the water.

Which of the north of the sitting area is a cool pool which is kind of overly chlorinated but it is really cool.

The drinks were good and fair priced. The food was really good and really well priced.

They offered covers for the lounge chairs they offered chairs and they offered beds. Yes, I said beds.

The crew was excellent they took care of our needs, very attentive, and always smiling.

    Thanks for a great day!

Great place to stop & get a drink & food. Here for the day on a gulf cart touring the island. Luckily, we had our bathing suits on. Drank on the lounge beds by the beach & enjoyed swimming pool to cool off. Had octopus tacks & a basil cocktail that was incredible!! Excellent restrooms & shower too.

Let me start by saying this was the absolute worse type of theft ever!!! Shrimp Fajitas are good, fish tacos were mediocre and sons steak was cooked perfectly, but the potatoes not cooked and dipped in VINEGAR! Drinks over priced and nothing to write home about. I asked for the check waiter says, it’s 1400 pesos. I asked for a printed receipt and it was 980 pesos. He said, oh I forgot to charge for two regular margaritas and it will be an additional 280 pesos for 5 full ounces! He clearly kept the money, but hey, lesson learned!!! Great view and nice property. Not worth it, move on!!! This is the only time I have ever rated anything on Isla and I’ve been coming here for nine years.

Laid back atmosphere, good for families, tasty food and unusually for Mexico, some local craft beer. Nice pools and beach access.

So glad we took the wrong turn looking for Punta Sur. If not, we may have never of found this little piece of paradise. Great service, good food, beautiful views, 3 pools, kid friendly ( my two lil ones did not want to leave), clean bathrooms and an amazing experience. Really, what more can you ask for? Hope to find it again when we return to isla mujeres.

The best place to go for a swim and food. Three pools, good food, excellent bathrooms, ok beach, pier, beach and pool loungers, live must've she days.

Very peaceful, secluded spot with lots of shaded chairs and a gorgeous view. The property has terraced pools--shallow enough for little kids--and looks out on the wooden pier and aquamarine ocean. The water was pretty sandy the day we visited, and the shallows were pretty mucky. We dove off the pier, which was great.

The food was pretty meh, the pescadillas tasted like packets of cat food (not so terrible we didn't eat them, but they were super weird), so we stopped ordering food after that. But all in all, it was relaxing and worth the journey out to that part of the island.

I can't believe we accidentally found this place. Waterfront bar with food and drinks and an elegant 3 level pool right on the beach with no entrance fee or day fee as long as you're buying food or drinks. Some of the friendliest staff anywhere on the island. Antonio is the best! He has an incredible personality and is so welcoming. We came 2 days in a row and loved it. Stop at the ice bar to check it out, see the baby turtles at tortugranja, then chill here the rest of the afternoon!

Very nice place that's open to the public for dining drinking swimming. Many people are giving bad reviews on here but they have to understand no one is overly bubbly here in Isla Mujeres. Mexican people don't fall all over you like they do in other places but they are very adequate and some go above and beyond. You have to know how to treat people when you're in different parts of the world. I have been there 3 times and I am treated very well and they can't do enough for me. Both times that I have ordered food it was amazing and serve to me poolside and also in one of the pool beds like I was a queen. The beers cold the food is good and you have a place to swim and stay cool without paying the high prices for lounge chairs and umbrellas. All they ask is that you drink and eat what else do you want? You're not renting a hotel room there, you're there to eat drink and be merry. So quit complaining and treating this like it's America it's Mexico for crying out loud.
