A beautiful colonial center square , literally the best the city has to offer , restaurants , cafes, museums and all that jazz, a sight you won't forget!

It’s a nice place to spend time and watch typical Mexican attractions. There’s immediate access to some of the best restaurants in Puebla and at walking distance from several of the ancient neighborhoods and buildings worth visiting. You can spend a whole day here walking your way around the zócalo. There are several parking lots around.

Nice place to take a walk and know about it's history. Nice buildings you need time to know them, lot of places where you can have some drinks, snacks or good meal.

Puebla is incredible and the zocalo lives up to the charms of this city. So much activity is always taking place with street performers and vendors throughout the day and evening. Lots of little restaurants dotted around the square and plenty of great views from the roof top bars. The zocalo is the perfect place to start exploring the rest of what Puebla has to offer

Not fancy restaurants but nice.
The cathedral is a Must.

Unforgettable experience during the Dia de los Muertos. Feels like all the Puebla's residents are there, either disguised or attending, watching, enjoying this once in a lifetime spectacle.

The zocalo park by itself, during the day, is really pretty. The Cathedral right next to it, is an amazing building. And wait to see it during nightime.

The night life there is amazing, we went out around 9 or 10 PM and there was mariachis playing and people dancing it was amazing!

If you enjoy historic sites, consider this on your next visit to Puebla.
Right across the street is La Catedral De Puebla.
El Zocalo is surrounded by Restaurants and other businesses, but don't even think about going by car, the traffic is a nightmare around this area.response / report this review -

Many things to do, see and enjoy in here. I strongly recommend to take the tour around the city. Inexpensive, no more than 6 dollars per adult and 4 dollars per kid. Maybe less considering the exchange rate. the did offer the tour in English. Ask for the headphones.
