We had a great experience with Yucatan Outdoors Kayaking in the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve, what makes them better than any other similar activities organizers is the passion they do their job with. Their knowledge about the area and all species living there is impressive, as the respect and care they have for it. I hardly recommend to choose Yucatan Outdoors for any adventure. Millones de gracias por una experiencia inolvidable, volveremos!!!
This was a highlight during my trip to Tulum this past week. The owner and tour guide could not have been any friendlier. They are passionate about their love of the jungle, the lagoon and all of the wildlife that live or visit there. Their knowledge of the history and the environment is beyond impressive and incredibly educational. And the nature speaks for itself - serenity and beauty. A must visit.
Awsome experience, had no idea that I would learn so much. Thanks Antonio, Emiliano, Peter & Manuel.
A truly rewarding and personal experience. Anotonio is truly passionate about their work and his dedication to the preserve is evident. Our trip was comparable to others in price but obviously a great deal more rewarding than a large group would be.
An awesome tour.
We went on the early morning tour. And this really means early morning. We met when the sun was only starting to rise and went with the kayaks in the lagoon.
A brief instruction on how to handle the kayak and we were off into the mangroves. Our guide explained so much and he really knows his birds. That really made it special not only to see but learn about the biosphere.
We saw flamingos, a roseate spoonbill and so many others.
The lunch they prepared was excellent. Local food freshly made served on a dune with awe inspiring view over the ocean.
After lunch we went to the cenote for some snorkeling which was really interesting too.
We had a great day and can only recommend this tour.
In the end they sent us the pictures our guide took of the birds and of us. Thank you.
Well informed, caring for this World Heritage Site, naturalists Antonio and Jessica will take you kayaking through ancient Mayan water trails lined with mangrove thickets. The highlighthundreds and hundreds of hard working birds, returning in the late afternoon and perching on small tree-islands safe from jungle predators. Spoon bills, pelicans, croaking cormorants, bunches of different herons jostling for a perch! A wonderful dinner is provided at the end of the tour!
Birders will go crazy! Any one loving pristine nature will love the trip and love these wonderful hosts!
