Excellent trip! We went in the middle of March, and easily found whales even though it was towards the end of the season. The professional pictures our guide took were amazing. We followed a group of whales for most of the trip and the baby humpback decided to show off!
Searching high and low for a place that would except my 2 and 4 year old. I finally found this place online with great reviews. I booked for same day tour and was available. Arrived about 40 min early and the front desk was very helpful. Our guide was Nacho and was amazing and very informative on the humpback whales. For being so late in the season, we were not disappointed! I liked the fact that we were close enough to see the whales yet far not to disturb like other boats we saw. We saw 6 whales and whales breaching! It was amazing sight to see. I highly recommend this tour and this company.
Took us 6-7 miles out away from the other boats. Very informative. We heard whale song! Saw males chasing a female, fin slaps, head butting, and breaching. Even a sea turtle came up for a visit. Great company and respectful of the whales.
Outstanding experience! Nacho our Marine Biologist guide was super knowledgeable and provided our group with a great educational experience. Whales are only there Dec - March, so you have to time it just right. We were lucky to see 7 Humpback whales! Thank you Nacho!
Best whale watching tours ever!!! With marine biologist guides and experienced boat captains who are both clearly fantastic at, and love, their jobs and the majestic marine mammals they encounter and help to educate guests about.
I took two Zodiac tours solo with Whale Watch Cabo, then came back with a friend for a boat tour because I had such amazing experiences the first day. I’ve been whale watching in San Diego, and Maui in season and never came this close or been able to see such spectacular activity as I have in Cabo - multiple breaches, fin slapping, dives with flukes up in slow motion.
The guides are not only informative and entertaining, they also come prepared with long lens cameras to shoot great photos of whales that they share with you for free via Dropbox after the tour. My favorite guide was Nacho, marine biologist from Spain - he knows where to find the active whales, is hilarious while clearly passionate about his work, shares fun facts about whales along the trip, and can answer any question you might have about whales. I would definitely book more tours with him next time I’m back in Cabo!
As for timing, I recommend the early morning tours because the waters are calmer, less boats are around, and especially when you pass by the Land’s End arch, the captain stops for you to take photos and you can get the cleanest shots / have longer time to take good ones in the morning when there isn’t a pile up of boats rushing to push in for the shot.
Great tour! Lisa and Santos rock!!!
Tour guide Samantha and team made an amazing tour.
Wow! What an afternoon. We saw a number of Humpback whales, sea lions, turtles, and even rays which were jumping out of the water. Our guide was as friendly as he was knowledgeable. As good as it gets. I highly recommend Whale Watch Cabo.
Great experience! The only difficulty we had was finding the office. It is just off the marina near dock LMN behind the bars. On the parking lot side of the strip mall.
Our tour guide (Lisa) was excellent and very knowledgeable about the whales and many of the animals in the area.
I got lucky during my visit and saw 3 whales during my tour - they were quite interactive and playful.
Professional and well run. Knowledgeable staff, passionate about the whales. Very good experience. Highly recommend.
