Terrible food and service. Took forever to get our meals and it was all cold. Chicken not even cooked. Calamari limp and terrible. Too touristy and a trap because they had nothing to offer that was worth eating. Even the signature ceasar salad was so bad our knives couldn't cut the limp lettuce. Laughable how bad it was. Never again when there are dozens of other options in this area.

Great Service, great food, a little pricey. Great ambiance, romantic to elegant interior dining, outside seating for more casual dining. Street musicians, historic area and building, down from historic square.

Excellent location in heart of town. The rooms are satisfactory but very dated and minimal, rather like an inexpensive motel. The grounds and restaurant are very nice and the included breakfast is good. Staff are excellent. The main downside was the pool - icy cold! Very few guests were able to brave it.

I love going to the Tropicana Inn! They have good food and the live music is very nice. The bands play inside the restaurant so if you are looking for a quiet place to chat with friends, this is not the restaurant; but the music is amazingly good!

We didn't stay in the hotel, but had dinner at the restaurant. It was really good. A great selection of Mexican and seafood. The service was prompt and courteous. The food portions were large, and tasty. Great atmosphere - looks like a grand Mexican old hacienda. Great experience.

Great little hotel. The pool area and restaurant are beautiful! The rooms are a little older but clean and comfortable. They brought a fridge to our room for us. Can't check in after 11. The free breakfast was great.

The essence of service! We are a group of seven people and I just want to say that from the youngest child to the oldest person being me all loved the service that was provided to us by "SANTIAGO" and his team. It has been the greatest experience as far as service and food taste and quality we have ever experienced, and we have visited quite a variety of places from Washington's Space Needle Restaurant all the way to Cabo San Lucas. We have driven all over the pacific coast and live in LA and have tried many different Restaurants, Diners, Dives and Eateries, and this is one of the best. will absolutely visiting this place again.
