My boyfriend and I went for dinner on our last night in Cabo San Lucas at Invita Bistro and we were blown away by the quality of service we received. From personalized wine recommendations to the attentive nature of our servers to our delicious appetizers and main course, the staff ensured that we had an incredible evening. We got a table on the patio - the entire restaurant has an open air vibe - and it looks out into a little town square on a quiet one way street. It is a nice break from the crazy hustle bustle around the downtown bar area and seems a bit more authentic back there. The menu has a lot of variety - everything looked so yummy it was so hard to choose! Our servers gave great tips and we ended up ordering a fantastic meal! My boyfriend had the fried calamari as an appetizer and then had the lasagna and I had the minestrone soup as my appetizer and the spaghetti aglio olio as my main and we both shared the bruschetta. Our meal was lovely and very reasonably priced (even the wine was well priced which was awesome because we got two bottles of it). They also bring you out a basket of a variety of fresh baked bread and two different olive oil type dips to have with it. My goodness the dips were good and the bread was loved by both my boyfriend and myself.
All in all, we can’t say enough great things about this hidden gem of a restaurant. These two Canadians will definitely go back next tine we are in Cabo. If you want great service and great, look no other than Invita Bistro. We were on the patio for three hours tonight eating and drinking and totally could have stayed longer. It really was a spectacular evening.
Great food, some of the pasta dishes are as good as you can get anywhere. Service varies.
They were the nicest and the service was top notch! Everyone was bilingual and knowledgeable about allergies and dietary preferences. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone. This is Italian food, so no authentic Mexican food if that is what you are seeking!
Reservation is recommended as they may be very busy during prime meal times. They served bottle water and bread before meal times.
Love this place! It's my new favorite in cabo.
The ambiance and secluded environment is mesmerizing, yet is the easiest to get to. Right across from the old main square. The menu is delicious and their service, very friendly without being overwhelming.
Have eaten here 5 times. Some of the best homemade Italian i have ever had.Fresh hot and delicious.open air environment.highly recommend.
Love the food here. Service is great as well. I've had multiple dishes and all have been great. Chips and salsa are unique and awesome. Give hem a try.
Great place, great food, great service.
We didn't have reservations but got lucky and there was a table whose reservation wouldn't arrive for another 1.5 hours and they squeezed us in.
A not to miss Restaurant while in Cabo! It has delicious steak and pasta and deserts. The staff are all very cordial and attentive. We went 3 times on our vaca! I'd recommend getting reservations for the outdoor patio.
We walked in on a Wednesday night. Was busy, sat outside on the small patio. All staff we encountered were gracious and friendly and seemed concerned with how we enjoyed our meal. It was *very* reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. 63 usd for three drinks, and a meal the two of us could not finish. I had a tuna steak and it couldn't have been cooked better. Will look forward to going again when in cabo next.
Holy cow. Do not miss out on the opportunity to dine here. I came with my family and 3 of the six of us ordered their lasagna, which is their signature dish. We were all blown away. The rest of the items at our table were as follows:
Caesar's salad
Calamari
Fettuccini Al ragu
Spaghetti Al pesto
Wow. We all tried each others food and were continuously blown away. I would like to also add that they brought out 4 different types of bread and they ALL were AMAZING!
Do not miss this place.
