  Completed divemaster training here and am now part of the Takata family! If you're looking for solid training that's personal, fun and a shop that has more to offer than diving, look no further! Awesome people! Also good spot for kitesurfing (not for beginners though).

  Dived with takata for three days. Great people, Marylee the instructor hugely competent and knowledge. equipment in good shape and great diving sites. Highly recommended the lion fish hunting expeditions (and the ceviche that follows it). Couldn't recommended more highly.

  Amazing dive shop and spectacular staff!
  
  Speaking nearly every language without flaw, the staff is very approachable and genuinely friendly going far out of their way to make you feel comfortable, safe and thoroughly enjoy your diving experience in the beautiful town of Mahahual! The dive shop is wonderfully located directly on the beach and the perfect walking distance away from the flow of cruiseshippers and tourists to enjoy a beautiful and peaceful experience! Their gear knowledge is impecable! All of their gear is very well kept and the staff thoroughly educate you on what to look for when renting gear thorough your diving career. I would DEFINITELY SUGGEST hiring their very talented photographer, Helene, for a couple dives for some truly amazing photographs which will make the memories last forever!

  he only thing I was expecting from Takata was some great dives. But It was much more than this. At the end, I met some amazing people, in a great, safe environment that I would refer everyone I know.

  A great experience just off the main tourist strip. An irreplaceable time and so much better than expected thanks to all the great people working with Takata. We will most definitely be back to dive!
