Of your looking for an all inclusive resort that has pool side cocktails and a spa Stay in Cancun. If your looking for a small forgotten piece of heaven that is nestled into the jungle on one side and fronted buy the crystal blue gulf on the other, than this may be your spot. Cell service is non-existent most of the time. Internet is dependant on the number of guests that can't unplug. My advice. Bring an old fashioned paperback Or borrow one from your room. Bring a willingness to see the place for what it is. A fishing Lodge on the outskirts of a rural seaside Mexican town of 350ish bordered by a national park, tranquil ocean and a maze of mangroves.
They have sea kayaks, or maybe arrange for a trip to the local dive shop. Mayan ruins? Or the local coral farm working to replenish the reef. The fishing guides are great. They will put you on more fish then you know what to do with. All you need is the right presentation and a little luck.
The restaurant is authentic. No texmex here. Fish dishes are beyond fresh and if you have a particular fish you'd like to see as the daily catch. Fantastic place! Freshly caught Grouper was delicious, Eduardo and the gang provided great service and an after dinner drink in a hammock a few feet from the water topped everything off. We'll be back soon!
Great people, great atmosphere if you're looking to get away from it all. The Internet isn't particularly reliable, but it could be argued that that's an integral part of the experience.
Relaxing, comfortable. Service is exemplary.
Excelente lugar para olvidarte de la ciudad y sólo relajarte que es a lo que vas.
