Lovely place, fantastic service, and incredible food - and not too expensive, to boot! We went to dinner celebrating a special occasion, and it was a wonderful choice. We started with delicious cocktails outside (the prickly pear cocktail I had was beautiful and delectable!), then made our way inside for dinner.
The covered patio is beautiful and not too noisy (but not pin-drop quiet if that’s what you’re after). We were greeted promptly and treated to homemade bread before digging into our appetizers (the yellow ceviche, short rib tacos, and empanadas, all of which were divine - I am still thinking about that ceviche a week later!). All of the salad and dinner options were wonderful, as well; I had the Oaxacan-style fish, which was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious, while my husband had the ribeye and my uncle had the hamburger, all of which they said were fantastic. Dessert was also fantastic - my cocktail was unlike anything I’ve ever had before, and the sorbets and chocolate dessert were both amazing.
The service was great, too - prompt, friendly, and not overly attentive. There was even a DJ on the patio outside after dinner, so we stayed a bit and got our dance on before heading home. I can’t recommend Toro highly enough, and if you’re in Cabo, you’d be well served to make a reservation!response / report this review -

Service and food were great. Nice ambience as well. Met another couple at our resort and we all joined up for a meal at Too. Quiet enough atmosphere for everyone to talk, joke around a toss back cocktails. The portion sizes are small, so we treated everything like tapas and shared. Lots of fun, just understand the portion sizes are small so either don't go here with a huge appetite or order lots of dishes.

Amazing and delicious. Sometimes lots of staff can become overwhelming to me but Toro hit just the right balance. Off the beaten path but worth the hunt.

Service and food are amazing. The design is subtle ,warm and inviting. The reason there is 4 stars in my review instead of 5 is because they charge for the food in pesos,but on your credit card they charge dollars at whatever exchange rate they want. This after the waiter explicitly said " I swear on my mother that we will charge you in pesos". At the bottom of the charge receipt it says that there is no recourse and that you agree to their terms. Seems like deceptive practices to me.

This is my go to Restaurant along with Flora Farms in Cabo San Jose. I visit CSL and CSJ 5 weeks per year and Toro is a must. Upscale but Mexico. The watermelon salad, empanadas, sashimi as a starter and all entrees are wonderful. I prefer the escolar.

Beautiful restaurant. Food was amazing and staff was really kind. One of the best views in Cabo and we managed to get to see the view during sunset. Food was overpriced, but was really good. This place was so good we went there twice in our weeks stay. I recommend this place

Ate here with my wife and two kids (4 & 8). Wonderful staff. No kids menu printed but delivered verbally. House made kids items. Awesome.
We had ceviche, tuna, Salmon, and grilled shrimp. Amazing. High food quality. Restaurant was hip was warm and welcoming. Will return.response / report this review -

My wife and I loved the food, and the wine list. Steak was incredible and perfectly cooked, and the fish was fresh. The ambiance at the bar or outside is better than the inside dining room.
