I've had horrible experience with all the big american car rental companies in tulum. I walked into America car rental hoping for a better experience. That was 8 months ago and I have been renting cars from them ever sense. Jose has been awesome in making it a simple, friendly easy experience.
I now have my friends take a shuttle to tulum and rent from America and Jose to avoid the Cancun airport bad experience and ridiculous prices

I’ve rented cars from America many times. They are the only rental company you can trust in the Riviera. They offer good prices and great service. I’m regularly in contact with José, from the Tulum office, and he always helps me get the best deal. :)

We were happy with the service. Our first vehicle did not have A.C. that was working well. They listened to our concerns and took us seriously. Arranged for another vehicle to be bright from Cozumel the next morning which worked perfectly for us. Yes there was more insurance to be bought and they did not have the cooler we ordered but I felt well treated the office has A.C. and restrooms which happily let us use ( even all 7 of us)
