Such a great bar! Staff is a ton of fun, made us want to extend out stay. Sadly, we had to leave, but we will be back any time we are in that area again!
Can't speak much for the food, we didn't eat there. But the beer is ice cold and the margaritas are delicious.response / report this review -

Ismael Ramos was our server and he was amazing. I had the best fresh squeezed lime margarita and the most amazing salsa, guacamole, and tacos (with bacon!). The mariachi band played, we had our picture placed on a bottle of tequila, and the prices were very reasonable. There is an upper deck and lower deck with TVs and pool table. My husband and I really enjoyed our conversation with Ismael and hope to visit again one day.

My husband and I have been coming here for 3 years. This is our favorite place. The bartenders Oscar and Roberto are the best. They have taken care of us and have made us laugh continuously every year we come by. Highly recommended!!!

This bar is one of the best bars at Playa.. the atmosphere is great.. the food is good..
GO there.. have a nice chat with everybody.. make friends for life..
The bartenders are very friendly and always willing to help..

Thr service was great, I ate tacos and they were awesome. What I love the most was the authenticity of the bar. Everytime I go to playa I go to this bar.

The service here was great. Had the shrimp tacos and I would definitely recommend them. Beware of their green salsa! It is HOT.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on 5th Ave. in Playa del Carmen and this restaurant was great. We even had a gentleman come and serenade us during our meal. If ever in Mexico - Playa or Cozumel area, you should visit this bustling area for food and shopping. There also plenty of pharmacies to get cheap over the counter & prescription medicine vs. the US. Love authentic Mexican cuisine.

While the margarita was good, the burrito was very bland, no flavor. Extremely rude staff who tried to get me to pay up more, after I had covered the bill and tipped, by saying I had not tipped. I would never come back here, overpriced and not worth it.

Great ambiance in one of the most iconic bar in Playa del Carmen.
Bartenders :Rodrigo, Oscar and Bar Manager Jose are awesome people.
