Perhaps the most surprising thing we did in Mexico City, this place is not to be missed. It is beautiful, like everything else here, but it is also so interesting. I would highly recommend watching the hour plus documentary. It is possibly the best historical documentary I have ever seen and I am a huge history buff. It seems like a while, but it is vital for contextualizing, not just Trotskys life, but also Mexican, Russian, and world history, which it does brilliantly

Interesting, little place to visit along side the Casa de Azul. Costs M$40 to enter. Learned a little bit more about Trotsky.

You pay to enter a Marxist's home. It is quiet, generally not full. There is a small restaurant and the jamaica with grape juice is great.

Being very honest, this museum is more interesting than La Casa Azul, the timeline for Rusia, Mexico and the rest of the world is really good. The sad part is that the Leon Trotsky house in the outside walls have a lot of graffiti's

I knew very little about Leon Tronsky and found this museum fascinating. The museum provides plenty of information and the home/compound itself is interesting. Worth a 45 minute to 1 hour stop.

If you go to Frida's blue house take the effort to come by Trotsky"s house to complete their story. Until you are here do you begin to comprehend how much his life was in danger, how his protectors tried and best of all what life was like in 1940 Coyoacán, Ciudad de México, CDMX

Seems to have been preserved exactly as it was in the late 1930s. Very reasonable entry fee, well worth seeing if you're passing through the neighborhood.

V cool seeing Trotsky's house but really would have benefitted from having an English speaking guide walking us round the place. Reading plaques can only give you so much info.

Entry was super cheap, 60 peso. The museum is TINY, can be seen, done and gone to the loo is less than 40min.

Go if you're planning to go to Frida Kahlo's museum anyway, it's only a couple of blocks away.

If you're near the Frida museum don't miss the chance to go to Trotsky museum. The place seems to conserve original items. However more information should be provided to those who don't know very much about Trotsky. life

Find a piece of Russia in the city. Although the home looks very rural you have to remember this house was built when the local area was only just a village. Research before you come so you can really appreciate what he was about and why this is his resting place.

Very interesting. There are a lot of explanations about the Russian Revolution the way people werr oppressed by Staline etc.. Obviously everything is on Lenin/Trotsky side, in terms of point of view. What would you expect.
