I have seen two exhibitions and both were worth the time. Located close to Coyoacán.

A small humble museum with intricate artworks. It's close to the Frida museum and it's free to visit. Like most of the museums in Mexico, however the descriptions are all in Spanish only.

Nice small museum in the center of Coyoacán, which also organizes temporary exhibitions. Good place to spend about an hour if you are staying in the area and don't want to take a metro or taxi to go elsewhere. Free of charge on Sundays.

Lovely place, it's a good alternative if you want to get in touch with Mexican traditions. They held the Feria del Tamal a couple of times a year and it's simply delicious. It's very near Coyoacán centre.

I respect it for what it is but wasn't very impressed. I love art so I can't rate it badly and they have an awesome bookstore, but I liked the store better. Tiny space. Quick walk through.

It is a small museum that almost always have an interesting showcase of Mexican tradition. There are free activities and expositions. The buildings are beautiful. It is one place you must visit when you go to coyoacan downtown

Its a magical place, if love the mexican culture. This museum is one of your best options and it is into the coyoacan downtown. Is a small museum. When you finish your visit you can go out for an ice cream or go sightseeing.
