Awesome food! We had the oyster mushroom tostadas for an appetizer and of course guacamole (we can’t eat a meal without it). It was fantastic! For our main course we had the seafood pasta and fish in a bag. Just writing this, it’s making my mouth water! I can’t recommend this place enough! The staff was wonderful, the food amazing and the view breathtaking.

Lovely private feeling location with inside/outside seating or on the beach. Good European gourmet food, some dishes with a Mexican twist. Good service. Great cocktails. We where only in town for a week but ate there 3 times, as we liked it so much.

It is a nice location, evening dinner on beach. The dining is setup very nice. I liked the food and it looked very good. I had the catch of the day grilled with chile sauce. It was very over cooked. I see lots of good reviews here but I was not as impressed.. I will try again next time.

We had dinner here and the portion of the meal was not small.
All the meals we ordered were delicious!

This is an ambitious restaurant serving modern cuisine at reasonable prices. There are a number of Asian dishes on the menu. Some of our group's choices were excellent, some less so. Certainly well worth a visit. Service excellent.

We loved this restaurant. It was close to our condo which was nice. The food was fantastic! We sat right on the ocean so the view was wonderful. I would recommend La Lunita to everyone!

So disappointed with this restaurant on our latest visit. It used to be good although it's not usually busy and the service was pretty fair until last night. We started off with some tapas which came to us burnt. When we told our server, he was very annoyed and begrudgingly took it away. On the second try, they were cold. In fear that the tapas was an indication of the main course, we paid our bill and left.

Fine dining in Akulma. Inside and ocean front tables available. Real cloth napkins and full bar. Menu nice mix of French, Mexican,Seafood with some Tapas influence. Reservations suggested for busy times of the year. Credit cards taken for meal, but tip must be paid with cash.

This was the best place we ate during our week in the Riviera Maya in early January 2017. Great service and amazing food. Theirs was the best coconut shrimp I've ever eaten. The restaurant is so good that I plan on staying nearby on my next trip so that I can dine there often, maybe everyday. The cost for 4 people with drinks, appetizer, and entrees was US$68.

This is by far the best restaurant in the area. We have been coming to Akumal since the early 90s. The food is amazing, the drinks are excellent, and the staff are kind and attentive. We highly recommend this restaurant! The shrimp are cooked perfect. The reviewer who complained below must have been drunk or is delusional. Our buddy is very picky and fussy - and even he loves this place. Everything is so reasonably priced. This place is a gem :) By the way - look through all the reviews - all great and one grumpy complainer. There's always one of those in every bunch!
