Delicious food, decent service. We shared three appies and they were all scrumptious. Margarita was a touch weak, would recommend getting with mezcal to up the flavour. The tuna carnitas were awesome, great texture, sashimi was delish and shrimp tacos were super well balanced, salsas were very nice as well. Would visit again for sure. Prices were tad high compared to other restaurants in San Jose but expected for this area by golf course and resorts.

Amazing is an understatement, I literally told people on the street about this place after I tried it. We came from DC and this was on par with a 5 start restaurant but with low pricing ($9-15 apps, $15-$31 entrees). I ordered a Zoro cocktail (3 fresh cut strawberries, fresh picked mind and vodka) the portions were large and perfectly mixed. Tuna carnita style was an amazing and flavorful app. As we were eating we saw fresh deliveies in very small portions (seems that they only order one day at a time and why you could taste the freshness in each ingredient). The owner was attentive and very professional! We will be coming back every day until we leave! So glad we found this place

Service and food was excellent, I even requested an adaptation to the item I ordered on the menu I ordered and the waiter said no problem and graciously had the ship adapter piece entree and it was delicious. Highly recommended

I’m giving this restaurant uno star. I’d give it a big fat 0 had it not been for our main courses. After a long travel day, we were hoping for a nice casual dinner. We stopped to read the menu in front of La Galeria when the “owner” told us that he’d buy us a to buy us a “welcome drink” if we gave the place a try . Sounds great, right???
He showed us the drinks we could choose from for our “welcome drink.” They were pricey craft cocktails and the most expensive on the menu. I ordered a Mojito and my fiancé a CoCo Beach. The drinks were good and I remained impressed at the hospitality! I ordered the shrimp ceviche as an appetizer and was a bit concerned when it was served. The juice was almost black and pretty gritty. I ate a few shrimp and some of the avocado before setting it aside. Our entrees came. The Almond Crusted Tuna and the Crusted Whitefish were delicious. The tuna was pink inside and flaky. It was seasoned impeccably and the seasonal vegetables were perfectly al dente. The whitefish was served on a bed of Nopal and mixed vegetables.
So, where did it all go wrong? We got the check and the “welcome drinks” ($20 US) were on the bill. We let the waiter know that the drinks were supposed to be free. Our waiter left to chat with the owner. They both walked over to our table. The owner apologized and said that the “other” waiter hadn’t taken the drinks off and he couldn’t credit them. The best he could do was give us two drinks to go which we declined. People traveling to Mexico from the US appreciate vendors who don’t take advantage of them. You get 1 star for total lack of integrity.

To add injury to insult, I spent a portion of my 2nd night of vacation quite ill - presumably with food poisoning which I could have forgiven had they been better humans.

Absolutely delicious! Stopped on a whim and was not disappointed! The host suggested the Tacos of the Sea (choice of octopus or shrimp) with the jicama "tortilla" and OMG! It was SO GOOD!!! Hubby had the Grilled Tuna and loved it, I had the fusilli pesto pasta with chicken. Definitely a must stop. Great atmosphere.

Food was just okay. The guacamole was the best thing we ate. The tacos were bland and small. The view of the marina is nice and the price was good with the happy hour discount.

Been coming here for 5 years, and it's a wonderful restaurant. Don't go if you're in a hurry. This is a place to sit, take your time, and enjoy a delightful dining experience. The staff are very friendly and will take good care of you, but will not rush you in any way. This is also the place to go if you've been fishing and you want someone to prepare your fresh catch for you. Just drop your fish off after your trip, tell the chefs what you like them to do with it, make a reservation for later, and return for one of the finest meals you've ever had. Nothing like eating something you just pulled out of the water that day! The tortilla encrusted fish is their signature dish, and not to be missed.

Great food, great price. Service is a bit slow (we have 4 small kids) but that is the norm here. The fish tacos were great, shrimp fajitas very very good and the enchiladas were very good. And the price was maybe half what I anticipated.
