This hotel does not offer refunds even if there is a major family illness, as was our case. This Hotel cares more about profit than human feelings.

Excellent downtown location. My room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were helpful with information about the area and things to do. Would definitely stay here again.

Upset they wouldn't do the romantic package we requested due to not enough personnel on a certain day, when we asked if we could do it the following day they simply said no.

Comfortable hotel in a perfect location on one of the main squares in San Miguel. It has a great view from a small roof terrace on the top floor. The rooms are nice and the service very good. Just be aware that the church across the square rings it's bells every quarter of an hour from about 6am!

Terrible experience. The staff was not in the hotel when we were coming back from dinner. A customer had to open the door from us. Security is not a thing they care about. Do not come here!!!

The staff and rooms in this hotel are nice, but DO NOT stay in a room at the back of the property - there is a salsa bar right behind the hotel which is open until 3am every day. It's so loud it feels like the band is in my room and between songs I can hear people's conversations. It's impossible to sleep in this part of the hotel - if you book a room check where it is first, unless you're intending to party all night. Hotel del Portal - please invest in sound proofing.

Great view of the city. Clean room with good AC at a Great price. The roof balcony is awesome. The Room is great. Those that can't do stairs need to find another hotel. The morning bells from the church will wake you.

This place is right in the square, overlooking the beautiful Gothic style church. For its location, the price was much cheaper than most airbnb advertised accommodation nearby. We hadn't pre-booked, so when we arrived we had already parked up elsewhere. But they collected our car from the carpark, took it to there's, got our bags from the boot/trunk and left them in our room. Excellent service. Excellent location. Excellent price.
