Great little place. My only complaints were the lack of hot water and lack of a jug to make our own tea of coffee in the hotel room. A delightful attempt to resolve our needs was with staff taking my husband around to where they were burning wood to heat the hot water system.

Cold showers, bad Wi-Fi, worst service. From the moment I checked in the lady at reception seemed angry that I wanted to stay there. She showed me the room and then once I paid, she gave the keys to a different room. I merely said ok, is it the same room? And she just angrily gave me the keys to the room she had showed me. From the moment I walked in she seemed genuinely annoyed that I wanted to rent a room at her hotel. In the morning I asked if I could extend one day. A different lady said yes, of course, then the angry receptionist was like No, No, you said last night you only wanted it for not night, so it's not available. The nice lady relented, and so it wasn't available. When I asked if another room was available she said yes, but it was 100 pesos more than yesterday. The room turned out to be exactly the same as the first, and was literally the farthest room from reception and up 3 flights of stairs, despite the fact that there were maybe 10 people in the hotel, and you could see that there were dozens of rooms available much closer and more convenient. The whole thing was shockingly petty, and reminded me of a parent trying to scold a disobedient child (though what I did to disobey is beyond me haha.) I was outta there after that. I don't know what that lady's deal is, I've never seen anything quite like it!

When we arrived, the lady on reception made a meal out of the fact that we didn’t have a reservation and took her time to decide that she did have a room for the night, at 100mxp over the advertised rate. Later it became quite obvious that they had many rooms available. She quite visibly rolled her eyes when we asked to see the room before agreeing to stay and took us reluctantly for a quick viewing. A large common area next to the pool was roped off and off-limits. In the morning, there was no breakfast included. When we checked out and asked to leave our luggage somewhere the same lady was quite pleased to tell us that they didn’t have anywhere to keep guest luggage (not even one of the empty rooms). We asked a couple of times what she suggest we do instead and she told us to go to the coach station and use the left-luggage there. On the plus side, the rooms were clean and spacious with nice furniture, but I would have swapped the hardwood side-board for a better class of service. I would recommend to anyone to look elsewhere.

Stayed for only one night ,great location to restaurants ,room clean but outdated, bed was really comfortable .shower was great.AC was so loud you couldn't have it on when you went to bed to sleep.trouble to sleep as room got to hot and stuffy when air con was not on..
TV old, reception wasn't good no remote,didn't bother me as I dont go on holidays to watch TV

Simple and nice hotel in centre of town. Friendly and helpful staff. Pool is good for cooling down if not swimming. Decor is fairly out of date inside rooms but outside looks great. Aircon works well

The only problem is the control remote for the TV, you have to leave $150 pesos and they will lend it to you and the pool is only open until 9 pm.

Great hotel. located in the downtown, 24hrs check in, kind staff and clean facilities. Have pool, restaurant and room service.

Surprise The hotel in the middle of town was such a nice surprise. There is a pool and a courtyard as soon as you walk in. The staff was great. There is a small restaurant in the back with a limited menu but the very young chef is a very good cook and everything we ordered was superb.

OK value for price, the rooms are good, and the courtyard with swimming pool very nice. the staff was completely disinterested, and spared only minimal attention. the old air conditioning was working but at 80 decibel unbearably loud.
