Small rooms but nice, comfortable and clean hotel. There are rooms for families of four. You can get free breakfast if you get the special offer. There is free WiFi but it's slow. The hotel is very close to the plaza and bars so it will be a little noisy if the windows are left open. I had a good experience with no complains.
This was a very good hotel I will say that this is adequate hotel for those that come far away it has a view to the Garibaldi plaza mariachis are ready to sing for you. It's a good place in general because of the cleaness and also because of the friendly staff. Just don't go when there is a lot of people because the maid would not wash your clothes like it happened to me. (JK but this is a fact)
Nice rooms, overall good service!!
The service is very good, nice rooms and its pretty close to many attractions.
Nice hotel, clean, good showers, nice and big beds. Sheets and towels are old but clean. Breakfast is not worth mentioning. But if you walk out enough decent food available!
Room was clean and basic. Not sure if staff had been affected by earthquake but quite unresponsive. - 'Breakfast' was chopped up hot dog sausage and stale chilaquiles, some chopped up fruit and gelatinous yogurt - coffee was colored water. Staff helped themselves to Cappuccino machine but never made it available or offered the option to us - they went hidding in the kitchen with their bag of donuts and never responded to greetings of 'good morning' or 'good byes'.
Good location, but a lot of activity at night
From the beginning at checkin the guy at reception was very rude and we had to ask for manager, which I have never had to do in a hotel before. The rooms were ok except you could hear everyone shutting their doors. Also the windows need curtains, you cannot see through them, which was just as well since you would only see the hotels building all around. But a lot of light still comes in at night and in the morning, making it difficult to get to sleep. The breakfast buffett was nasty. The potatos tasted sour. The chilaquiles were mushy, why rice in the morning? who knows. They did have fresh fruit, which was the only edible thing to me. They also had bread for toast and cereal which I suppose is better than anything cooked. The rest of staff were nice, but the guy in reception should not be in service industry.
Great accomodations at reasonable price. Located conventual in Zócalo near many tourist attractions.
The night club nearby is too loud. Otherwise the hotel was great, everything was functioning and everyone was friendly. The included breakfast didn't offer many choices.
Friendly staff and great value. Location is ideal as you are home square of the mariachi and a short walk from all the historic centre. The main thing to be aware of if you're considering staying here is the noise. The hotel is next to a very popular bar/club which plays loud music from 10pm through to 4am every night and the sound reverberates through the hotel. It is definitely something to be fully aware of if you're a light sleeper or have children. Other than that, the rooms are large and clean, beds comfortable and longer than a usual double. Breakfast is poor, but there is so much other food available in mexico city, I don't think this should put you off.
Very nice place, but the area near the hotel are kinda insecure and ugly
Great location, easy access and comfortable
Good price, nice people. Definitely the best after stumbling around Garibaldi drinking tequila.
Noisy! Right next to a club that blasts music til 3am. You can hear the water pipes going all night. I'm sure all rooms are not like this but we asked for a quite room and they gave us seemingly the noisiest room possible. Don't stay in room 113 if you want sleep.
Nice smaller hotel great staff. Ice machines, good restaurant. Looked to be newly renovated done well. In room safe,a/c
Didn't work well but was not needed must.
They were quick to change our room because we booked non smoking and it had been smoked it. It was a little noisy at night but that was no problem with the a/c on.
