I really wanted to like it but I heard other person saying they need to update the mattress. Mine was as thin as a tortilla, had to change the Hotel. Hotel is pretty but also the terrace is closed for the mosquitoes (I honestly felt tapped) The staff was friendly. There is not AC or Heater, I dont think you can find one in whole San Cristobal anyways.

Is a beautiful hotel, rooms are quite comfy and very clean. Shower also worked quite well. My husband and I had a very pleasant night.

My boyfriend stayed here in August of 2017. I wish I could give it 10 stars. I cannot explain entirely how absolutely lovely and hospitable the staff is. The location is perfect. About a block from where all the action happens. The room was perfect. Very cozy, huge, and rustic.

Hotel was very nice. Due to last-minute booking we had a 50% discount (normally we choose to spend less on hotels, as we don't spend much time at them). Has an inside court, so no noise from outside. Loud guests can still be a problem. Very nice room and helpful personnel. Only downside: The tours they scheduled. The receptionist told us they included English guide and free drinks. On both occasions this wasn't the case. Just a Mexican driver who didn't speak a word English (very friendly though). As the tours were more expensive than if you arrange in town, we felt ripped off. Tours we did were Sumidero Cañon and Agua Azul-other waterfall-Palenque (and drop-off at Palenque hotel). Would recommend, but schedule tours in town (enough tour operators, you'll see).

Bed bugs, chinches stay away.
I stayed with my two kids.
I moved the pillow so my baby could have more space to move and then I find I bed bug. Not fun. I'm definitely not staying there again..

Internet is not working!!!! and the staff in the afternoon would not help. Rooms are very cold during the night. We paid in advance they wouldn't give us our money to change hotel, while we couldn't use internet for some work we had to do. We asked specifically when we visited the room for a working connection.
