Good customer service although rooms are kind of small, no ac or heater, parking issue a little inconvenient. No bad for a couple days
The location was great, budget friendly and spacious rooms. The restaurant was nice and affordable. You can walk to Zocalo and other must see sites. Across the street is the most gorgeous hospital that has Diego Rivera murals.
I went on holiday here, ran out of money and had to get the staff to call my dad and ask for money. They were nice about it.
The best! Clean rooms every day and great service.
Friendly staff, and nice clean rooms at inexpensive price
Muy buen hotel, con un excelente precio. El agua sale muy caliente y con un buen chorro. Las habitaciones limpias y con buen espacio.
Castrolpol is a great hotel with great prices from hotel stay and their food and drink. The staff is very helpful and polite. If you are looking to make a trip to Mexico City stay at Castropol. The location is great as well.
I would sincerely recommend this hotel to either business travellers or to urban tourists. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained; restaurant and room service are inexpensive, tasty and well served; and the hotel itself is very well located for anyone with business in downtown Mexico City.
The only issues I would mention is that the WiFi is very slow, day and night, and that restaurant and room service only work breakfast and lunch, and it's several blocks to the nearest 24/7 mini-mart.
Good price, location and service. No AC available in rooms but it is not needed. All the people who works there is very attentive, responsable and kind. The restaurant offers good options however, it will help a lot if it would open earlier. There are no restaurants around, this is a really big problem when you want to start your day early or comeback late at night. All the rooms seems remodeled with comfortable beds and flat tv. The noise around the rooms is pasable as long the other guests are respectful with each other. The elevator. It is small, old and every time it makes a stop you need to watch your step, it is no even to the main floor; a yellow strip in the floor will help a lot preventing accident falls.
Nice hotel for the price you pay. Key location for visit sights at center. Very comfortable for a 3 stars hotel.
Great price great service and close to great restaurants and the zocalo, loved it.
First room had a toilet that leaked, 2nd room has a sink that doesn't drain And no one speaks a word of English
I am very pleased with my time spent here. It's a very clean place, and the staff was pleasant. I don't speak Spanish but that was never a problem. The location is perfect, I saw everything easily by foot. I spent five days here and five in another hotel close to Chapultapec, I thought it would be easier to of the city. This hotel was far superior, if I go back I will certainly stay here. I was traveling alone, so it was also nice having a restaurant and few cervesas to retreat to when it got late. Great experience!
The location is very centric, near many places of interests in Mexico City, rooms are comfortable, spacious, clean, service is ok, and prices are very competitive, it's worth of you go 2-3 days to Mexico
Great Hotel, friendly stafc and near of points of interest! Very recommended and great prices!!!
This hotel is great value for money. The location(historical centre) is perfect with the metro station nearby. The room was clean and we got great room service. The restaurant is cheap and the food is also pretty good. We were actually surprised at the great rates! The only issue we found was that the rooms are not sound proof and your can hear people on the corridor/rooms at night. But for this price, it is a really small issue.
