Nice dive shop, friendly staff, very close to the reef and cenotes. I highly recommend the cenotes. First day diving them and I am a dedicated fan.

This is a great hidden scuba jewel!! Super friendly staff, good equipment and way way less expensive than the guys located in your resort. I'll for sure be coming back to this shop on my next vacation there! PS. Max, if you read this, thanks again for the awesome dives last Wednesday. It was so nice to see the instructor carrying about the reef like you did :)

I don't typically do reviews but my experience with the owner Mike was excellent! The dive guides were typical friendly and what you would expect in Mexico. I have my own equipment so I can't speak to the rental gear. If you're looking for a froufrou boat with drinks and all the amenities this is not your outfit. The price is right and is a great value. It's a five minute boat ride to the dive site.
IMO If you see one reef I feel like you seen them all. I highly recommend the cavern dives. Once in a lifetime opportunity and the weather is irrelevant. Had I known about them when I got there I probably would have passed on the reef. I will definitely be back.

We used Dive Aventuras while we were visiting Mexico earlier this year and found them to be a superb Dive Center.
I qualified for my Rescue Diver and my EFR with them while I was there and the instruction I received from Nils was thorough and in-depth.
The majority of my diving was with Cesar, both ocean and Cenote.
I would highly recommend Dive Aventuras to anyone visiting the Puerto Aventuras area of Mexico.

Brilliant Dive Centre, amazing dives, brilliant instructors, everyone was so helpful and put you at your ease. The Dive Centre is positioned within The Omni Hotel so you are able to use the facilities of the swimming pools and beach, awesome location as well, 2 min walk to the boat and the service was perfect. We were there for 3 weeks so we kept all of our equipment in the centre. When we finished a dive all our equipment was taken back for us and washed and prepared for the next dive. Thanks guys for making our diving holiday a unique and memorable memory!
