The BEST place to rent surf and SUP equipment in the Cabo area. We rent from the shop and they take us down the coast to the best places, or they will deliver to the resort! Friendly, personal, accommodating owners. And the shop is GREAT. I always bring home some new cute souvenirs that are my favorites of the trip.

Had a great experience with Alex, Roy and the team at Costa Azul Surf shop. My wife and I took surf lessons with Roy and it was great. They took us to a great spot very close to the shop. They had cold waters, set up two chairs and a umbrella. We caught 5-10 waves and really enjoyed our afternoon. The shop was great with tons of great shirts and hats, tons of boards as well. One of the best meals we had was at the taco stand next door to the shop. If you are looking to buy a cool shirt, hat, a new surf board or take surf lessons, I highly recommend checking out Costa Azul Surf Shop!

This place is a gem. Staff was super helpful and friendly. We didn't get a lesson but others did and the teachers were knowledgeable, patient and spoke great English. We rented a some long boards and they shuttled us to a beach with great surf in front of Cabo Surf Hotel. The shop has everything you need. The surf location was over a reef and we ended up with a scrape on the bottom of the board and had to pay an additional $35. They should offer insurance because it is a rocky location and dings are probably common. A caution about that and stating the cost for minor damage would have been helpful.

Came here to rent boards for me and my girlfriend and found a great selection. Much better than what most places have. Ended up riding this perfect 6'2" from a local shaper and the rental of my girlfriend was practically brand new. The glad job was still perfect!
The staff was super friendly and they will accommodate switching your board several times a day if conditions change or you simply wanted to.

Great, They have boards for all conditions and a great surf instructor! If you're learning to surf I would recommend Roy for the surf instructor. Definitely would reccomend to all level surfers.

Very good surfboard rental range, from longboard's down to 5'5" all in good condition and very reasonable rates. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I have been renting boards from them for over 20 years. Always nice and accommodating. Awesome board selection no matter what the conditions are. Heading back down in June. Can't wait to pick up another board and get in the water!

My husband and I took a surf lesson with Alex Olea and it was amazing! He is an awesome instructor- he was patient and gave good feedback. He was calm and laid back, but still very encouraging. After watching me fall the first few times, he gave me a different technique that helped me stand up and ride almost all the way to the shore! The whole staff was so nice, I will definitely come back the next time I am in town!
