  English speaking front desk reception was helpful. Good breakfast with omelette, coffee, juice, and fruit overlooking the pool. Taxis about 40 peso to get into town or to the palenque archaeological ruins. Wi-Fi is good for email or small files but having great difficulty uploading my large video files. Beautiful resort none the less. Rooms have hard stone floors so bring flip flops or sandals.

  Restaurant area and food are really good..good prices. Rooms have that rustic feeling, but, they could really do some more updates in the roomscourtines, lighting specially. It is a huge property. Nice pool area as well. Staff is friendly and helpfull.

  The rooms are large but missing essentials such as a fridge and a hairdryer.
  The location is great right in the woods, you can see monkeys and other wildlife on the grounds. The three pools were disappointing, because only in one you could realistically swim not only because it was deep enough but also because it was the only under 30 degrees Celsius
  
  Overall the only positiv thing was that you could watch wildlife, to the ruins it takes a taxi, the service was not satisfactory and the rooms did not have wifi.

  A nice resort in a decent distance from the Palenque Park and Archeological Site (we walked there in about 30 minutes). Breakfast was averagely good, but the service could be more proactive. Good after all, apart from trhe dampness in our room: even the ac and te dehumidifier combined could not get rid of it.
