Great service, great location, great price.
Charming hotel close to many good restaurant, 5 minute walk to the Subway and has it's own restaurant
Staff is very friendly. Free filtered water to refill your water bottle. Beautiful, peaceful courtyard patio with lots of plants and flowers to hang out on.
This is a nice clean and quiet place away from noise and yet only two blocks away from lively Reforma. Perfect location for sight seeing and catching the turibus and public transportation. I would give it a five star if it wasn't the buzzer that rings through out the day and night. It's very annoying!!! Please do something about the buzzer. You should relocate it to inside the office
. Not place it in the patio where all the guest can hear it. Other than that.. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location. Although I do not have a personal experience with another hotel withrn the city Casa Gonzalez seems rather expensive in comparison to my stays in Guanajuato City which also included breakfast and San Miguel. Wifi is there but rather slow. Going to one of the many Starbucks around the city is a easy fix for that. Also the hotel does not provide wash rags.
Went to Mexico City for a few days, the location is great - walking distance to El Angel de la Indepencia
Good service, good rooms, good breakfast - not perfect by the entrance isn't very obvious but can't fault it
Nice hotel, like been un home, beautiful rooms, nice house, great atention.
I have stayed here on multiple occasions, lovely place, food is served family style and was incredibly delicious.
Quaint, well-located, and very well priced. Hotel Casa Gonzalez is located a couple of miles from Castillo Chapultepec, walking distance from el Templo Mayor, and a few blocks away from la Zona Rosa. The staff is attentive and professional, the rooms are more than serviceable, and very clean. All in all, very highly recommended.
Beautiful and cozy stay!! Great service, we'll take care hotel right on the middle of the city!!
Casa Gonzalez is safe, clean, and conveniently located. It is a few blocks away from El Angel de la Independencia and the subway. There are grocery stores nearby, a pharmacy, restaurants, and cafes. Its staff is friendly and always willing to make the stay better. Their restaurant is also good for breakfast. I have stayed here for two consecutive years. My only concern is that some of the bathrooms are really small. Other than this it is great!
The outside door was always open, defeating the purpose of having a key as guests. The rooms are clean and nice enough, however they are very cold, need it 3 covers to stay cozy enough to sleep.
Very central location in Zona Rosa, very safe and the rates reasonable. The rooms facing the garden on the ground floor are the best. Avoid the rooms facing the street and near the main entrance. Excellent and friendly service by the staff!
Its a great hotel. .. Definitely going there again
Beautiful space, clean rooms, nice art in the hallways. Bed was a little hard but otherwise good.
For the budget traveler this hotel provide a Mexican experience with a warm and kind service. Obviously is not a regular hotel and probably you miss the luxury details.
But this place compensate this situation with a interesting things like a restaurant with a family table with a homemade style where you could share a good conversation with another travelers.
Another advantage is If you walk two blocks can find the "angel de la independencia" one of the more iconic place in the city
Casa Gonzalez is a good option for the budget travelers who's looking a hotel with good location and Mexican essence.
