Capitan Eduardo and his crew went above and beyond. They wouldn't stop trying until we got 6 big Dorados. Great experience! Thanks to Eduardo that was able to accommodate our last minute request.

We had a chance to experience the marlin capitol of the world at first hand.
Cabo San Lucas is it.
We chartered two days of fishing because they warned us fishing was a bit slow because of the cold weather. As to our surprise the crew did awesome for us , my Son’s first fishing trip and first day we caught 2 Mahi Mahi, and one wahoo. Which was delicious.
Second day was a bit slow but after 5 hours searching we found the Marlin.
Crew dropped back a live bait and boom it was one.
My Son fought it for 35 minutes and finally got our picture.
On the way back we hit the tuna and boom 4, 25 lbs. Tunas on the boat.
Can’t thank the crew enough for making my Son birthday an incredible day.
He still can’t stop bragging to everyone he’s a fisherman now.

I would highly recommend that you avoid booking a charter with Cabo San Lucas Sportfishing. I was foolish enough to book the 28ft Blue Tail with them TWICE since the offered me a "discounted" half day of fishing after I didn't catch a single fish for a full day. I realize that there are bad fishing days and that's what they'll tell you when you come back empty handed too. However, that's kind of hard to believe when they used the EXACT same fishing tactics and location on the second day. Almost every fishing boat in the harbor was bringing in fish, not us though. These guys genuinely don't care if you catch a fish. The fishing crew doesn't care to teach you anything and barely speaks English. Hope this review saves someone else the headache and empty wallet these guys caused me.

Booked the Blue Tail. Seas were a little rough, but the fish started early. Caught a Mahi Mahi almost immediately after leaving the harbor.
Landed a 91 inch sailfish that will soon be on the wall, and caught and released a young Striped Marlin that fought like crazy. Great time and will come again when we come back!response / report this review -

I had the best time of my life !! This trip is amazing !! We went for my bachelor party last month and fough some tuna !!! On the way back in we spotted a big 140lb marlin and got hooked up right away!!!
After we cought the first marlin, we immediately Snagged another 250lb blue marlin!! We had to catch and release! This team is amazing and they have great experience expertise in the sport of fishing!! These guys tryley live fishing! I promise you will not be disappointed.response / report this review -

I have been going to Cabo for the past 10 years and I have used this charter company many times and have been very pleased with their quick response in booking a boat, meeting my needs, and great boats and service, needless to say the Captains and crew. I can't remember the last time I didn't catch a good size fish and my last trip in January '17 I caught an 208 Lbs. Yellow Fin Tuna.

I have fished all over the world and can confirm that Cabo San Lucas Charters is one of the best fishing grounds -hands down!- simply because you can mix your bag of game fish!.Cabo San Lucas Charters boat captains are serious anglers and have pride in what they do!.. they don't like to go out and come home empty handed!.. these guys catch fish!.. they protect their job and reputation!

I got scammed by these crooks. Carlos Padilla is the front man selling fishing charters at the marina out of section E by Lorenzillos restaurant. Told us all was included in our 5 hour fishing time and we would go out 10 miles to where the fish are. At the last minute we had to pay for bait. Then the crew had to stop at the marina market. This would all be part of our time of course. Then the captain would not go out more than one mile. All the other boats you could see going out and disappearing. Not us we just crawled around at shore saving gas I gathered. The boat was not the one he told us we would be on and the motor was so loud all of our ears rang the rest of the day. No wonder we didn't catch any fish. They were scared away. It would have been nice to use some of the bait we were charged for but no that wasn't happening. Now I'm not a pro fisherman but you would think that the lures should be out a little bit from the back of the boat not 20 feet from the god awful noise coming from the motor that needed a muffler. The name of this boat was Blue Tail. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Carlos Padilla, Blue Tail and Cabo San Lucas Sport Fishing and go with a crew that will do what it takes to give you a chance to catch fish.

Very impressed with there performance on the water, they manage to always be on the fish great effort , practice and crews.

There's always a lot of options for boats and fishing charters, but this company sure goes the extra mile Captain Eddie helped us pick the right boat for the type of fishing we're intending, and didn't stop there, also gave us the best pointers and spots to rock our fishing trip.
