April 17 went on a luxury yacht excursion via princess with Victor and the crew of Cabo adventures. It was amazing! Beautiful boat, great views, great lunch, ample drinks and WHALES! We were lucky enough to spot a mom and baby whale and the captain followed them for over an hour letting us get great picture. If your not a sun worshipper know there is not a lot of shade on this boat.
Excellent tour service! We did the zip lines, camel rides, and snorkeling. All were great! It was very nice to have their shuttle pick us up from the hotel lobby and take us back after. All the guides were very friendly and helpful! They do get a little more money out of you by selling you the photos they take during your excursions – they have a professional photographer though that gets some great vantage points that you could not normally get.
I did two tours while I was in Cabo over the weekend with Cabo Adventures.
First tour - Camel & Outback adventure. Janet was our guide and she was amazing. She led us on a small hike and taught us "how to survive in the desert" she was comical and incredibly knowledgeable which made the tour great. The Camel ride while brief (about 20-25 minutes) was unforgettable, of course they take professional photos which run about 24 USD if you want one but a couple came out great and I figured it was worth it for the memory. The tequila tasting and food were a great wrap up at the end.
The second tour I did was the Signature Swim with Dolphins, this is why I deducted a star, the experience itself was amazing, Rachel was our trainer and again she was fun, sweet and super knowledgeable. At the end there was only one photo I really liked and wanted to purchase but was super thrown off when I was told they ONLY offered packagesstarting at $140 this made me a little upset as you do shell out a bit of money for the excursion and you can't purchase a single photo but have to pay almost as much for photos as you do for the adventure itself. Glad I did it but sad I don't have a photo as memory.
Great for company for many different adventures. All their staff were very professional and truly seemed to be honored to have you as a customer. Central location downtown attached to the Marina which makes it very convenient when you return from one of their many excursions. Very impressed with the waiting area and availability of refreshments. Also the organization of groups. Very clear instructions and never felt like I was being herded like cattle which is how it often seems on vacation tours. Nothing cheesy about this outfit. We did the Whale watching in Febuary. Highly recommend it.
We took the 4 hour sailing adventure that involved snorkeling and paddle boards. The staff on the catamaran we're fantastic and friendly. They were all very fluent in English and willing to go out of their way to make sure you were comfortable and having a good time. We really enjoyed the fresh food on the boat. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and open requests for alcohol drink refills. The boat was extremely clean and appeared to be new. Compared to other boats in the area, they had them beat! Strongly consider this tour if in Cabo and looking for a boat tour!
Fantastic company. We went on two tours with them and had an amazing time in each (sunset sailing and Sea of Cortez). Everything was very well organized, staff was fun and friendly, facility was clean, equipment was well kept maintained. If you're looking to go on an adventure in Cabo, I highly recommend them. Would definitely use them again!
We did the Sunset Cruise with Mel and Ruth, Camel Riding with Johnathan and Daniel, Luxury Sailing with Pepe and Diana, and the Outdoor adventure with Jesus, Wayne, Dan, Maggie, Elizabeth, and Cesar. All four days were phenomenal and a ton of fun. I'd imagine the rest of their adventures are just as fun and well planned. Food served was authentic and delicious, the guides were all fun and had great senses of humor. All around, Cabo Adventures made our trip one to remember! Would highly recommend.
We took two tours the glass bottom boat was good. The sailboat dinner cruise food was not really edible too salty and spicy. The crew was only 3 people and the guide was the only one active in the crew. The captain was waiter and dishwasher so the boat just went adrift for 1/2 the time. Then the pictures they took were 50 USD for less than 10 pics whether you wanted 1 or all and were on flash drive so more expense when u get home. Very disappointed that our money was more important the we were. The all day trip taken by our friends swim with the sharks had better food according to them and had a lot more pictures taken and the pictures were only $40 it would be nice to have some consistency in pricing. And better quality food for $169 per couple.
Enjoyed the electric bicycle tour this morning with Jesus & Shelia (both were great, knowledgeable and engaging). Tour took us to ride along the beautiful beach. Bike although electric did take a bit of easy peddling and a little muscle to maneuver.
Would recommend to those wanting a bike experience but not into mountain biking.
This was the perfect addition to our trip. Me and my boyfriend went on three of the excursions offered by Cabo Adventures. We took a snorkeling adventure and even spotted a few whales on our way to our destination! The services were amazing, everyone was so kind and welcoming and everything was included in our price. It is a great thing if you want to explore the natural beauty of Cabo without going outside of your comfort zone.
My three children said our day of sailing was "the best vacation activity" they had ever had. The service throughout was excellent, comfortable, efficient and organized. The boat was beautiful and the sailing immensely enjoyable, as was the tasty food and abundant drinks. Our guide, Leo, was superb, attentive and thoughtful, as were the other crew members. Definitely hope to join them again.
Awesome company to book any excursion with. We booked 3 excursion and ended up getting the 4th one for free as per the promotion they had going on at the moment. The crew for all the excursion were professional, knowledgeable and knew how to have fun and make sure you have a blast and make your money worth.
We ended up doing the Zip lining, Swim with the whale shark, Scuba diving and Water boarding, and my all-time favorite was the water boarding. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to have an awesome time and safe adventures.
We did the Camel tour, on the whole it was an awesome experience that I would highly recommend, but it was soured somewhat by their ridiculously strict photo policy, you are forbidden to take photos while riding the camels, they claim safety reasons, but it is clearly a money making exercise fair enough, I support any businesses right to protect their income, and would have been happy to pay for a few of the photos taken by their photographer. BUT it should have been clearly explained that the photos were only available for purchase as a package oh you can buy individual photos if you desire, but at astronomical prices that mean that the only economical way to buy would be to get the package (at an over inflated price - in my opinion) My daughter wanted to purchase the set of photos, so we decided to swallow the cost and go ahead with the purchase that was until one of the images she selected contained three of us (myself, my daughter and my wife - my daughter's stepmother) We were told that the package we had selected was only for images of up to two individuals, if she wanted even just this single photo of the three of us it would cost a further $25+! (The next package available)
There was absolutely no mention of this as they were taking photos, and as the camels only carry two people at a time our group was necessarily separated my daughter volunteered to ride with another child that we did not know this meant that the only photo's she could buy at the entry level package only contained her and a stranger!!! None of us as a family- unless we wanted to come up with the extra $$. This sent my 15 year old daughter into tears! (Not something she is prone too) and me into disbelief (and seething rage!)
Come on Cabo Adventures! Play fair these are digital files, at very little cost to you you ruined what was otherwise a wonderful family experience for the sake of one digital image!
At the very least be upfront about your pricing structure BEFOREHAND we chose to not purchase any photos on principle.
At least we have the memories.
Red team is the best team! Jordan and his crew were amazingly funny. Love those guys. We did zip lining and it was a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Cabo. They pick you up, very organized crew. I took off a star because the Polaris ride was not thrilling and was pretty boring! Short in length and not worth it. Zip lining on the other hand was GREAT!
We were in Cabo for 6 days and did 3 adventures. Zip Lining, Scuba diving, and we also swam with whale sharks! It was all extremely incredible. All the tours were very well put together and thought out, and the tour guides were all very professional. I would definitely recommend this company for an amazing vacation.
Flyboarding was so much fun and I totally recommend doing it.
We had 4 teenagers/young adults and they loved it!
Marcos was our instructor and he was so great and helpful!
Totally worth the money and you will have a blast!
It was beyond wonderful to see and play with the dolphins. The trainers/staff were great! Besides being able to touch them and swim with them, I learned so much more about dolphins and their environment. Highly recommend!
Hands down the worst company to book an excursion through if you need to cancel due to uncontrollable circumstances. We canceled our reservation a week in advance due to getting the flu, they said we would have our refund within two weeks. After two and a half weeks with no refund I gave them a call and they said billing wasn't available but would call back. After another week I gave them another call, surprisingly enough billing wasn't available again ok? Left my info again and waited another week, no call. Called two more times with the same exact person giving me the same exact excuse. For the fifth call I decided to wait on hold for billing to become available, after 45 minutes I was told billing won't answer the phone but said that the refund was already processed. After calling my credit card company I discovered that this was not the case, I had to dispute the charge directly with my credit card company and now need to wait for new cards to be issued as well as the charge reversal on my next statement, so I need to pay the bill for something I didn't do and then get the $200 to sit on a card I barely ever use, just because this company has no billing department and no interest in refunding customers money.
We booked our swimming with the dolphins on the website while in America. They were running a promo for buy one get one free. It was very easy to book and they send you a confirmation to your email. Cabo Adventures was able to pick us up at the hotel and take us to the pool. (One way ONLY).
When we got there we were able to get checked in. They do have lockers for you to keep your belongings while you are in the pool. They do NOT allow you to bring in any of your own cameras.
We signed up for the biggest dolphin package. Most of the other people had got a smaller package. We were so happy because there was only 3 in our group and we were able to swim with the dolphins for about an hr. We got to play/pet them along with 2 rides each. I did one underwater and one above water. They were so fast!
Overall, this is the easiest company to do excursions. They seemed a bit more expensive than some of the others, and I'm guessing because of all of the marketing costs.
