Guaranteed the only place in Playa Del Carmen you can get Pad Thai and Swedish Meatballs. Food was great, Drinks were big and strong. Service could have been better but in a group of 15 everybody enjoyed their food.

Delicious, great atmosphere and the drinks are amazing. You usually don’t think noodles or Asian fusion when you think Playa del Carmen but this place is the best!

The food is very good and have big portions (half is enough for one person). It is usually crowded, so expect a little wait, and it's worth it. Do not expect something strictly traditional, but something delicious. Drinks are also big and inexpensive. It's been one of my favorites for years. Do check for recent reviews (or maybe social media posts), they tend to close for long periods of time and then open again

Food is delicious!!! Their frozen drinks on happy hour are only 58 pesos and are huuuge!!! So worth it! Will be back for sure on a regular basis!!! I was very impressed!

The restaurant is closed. Big hole in the group. Lots of work required to reopen. Don't expect it to be open anytime soon.

Big hole in the ground here now. A sign on the surrounding fence says it will reopen next month (July 2017). At the pace things move around here, I'm thinking more like next year, maybe

Ordered a couple drinks and two dishes only to be told that they were out of 90% of the menu. Kinda odd because you really only need so many ingredients that work in a lot of the dishes. Fine, we chose from what they had. Drinks were good but after 40 minutes with no food we kinda wondered what was going on. Asked and of course someone dropped the ball and didn't ring in our order or the kitchen forgot. Said they could do it in 5 but we had to leave to catch our plane. Then they had the nerve to not even comp us a drink or 10% off or anything. Brutal service with no concern to keep customers, I guess they know that there is an endless supply. Do yourself a favour and avoid eating anywhere near 5th ave.

One of the oldest and well known places in playa, babe's serves Thai food and some Swedish dishes, yes kind of a weird mix but the food is amazing. Try the frozen cocktails!!

Excellent sashimi. A little spicy. Returning a year later to add, excellent service and great fruit daquari's. Thai noodle dishes are good, and the raw tuna appetizers are excellent.

Our favorite food in playa del Carmen. If you had a 3 hour layover in CUN, it would be worth taking a cab an hour each way just for lunch. We've been coming here for 10 years and never disappointed. Get a smoothie and some curry with noodles. Get anything, just get it here.

The plate sizes are slightly skewed. I would order the small unless you really eat a lot. Flavors were good and drinks were strong.
