Having done some volunteering with UCCT, via online through blog posts and fundraising efforts, I found this organization one to be extremely easy and fun to work with. Ian makes volunteering easy and provides opportunities via email updates regularly. I also found the support of my blog posts to be every rewarding and that getting them published was an accomplished feeling. I love being able to support a cause in many forms, not just a cash donation. I also love how UCCT provides families with a mosquito net, but also an abundance of knowledge and education to ensure the nets are well used and last as long as they possibly can. I hope in the future to be able to become apart of the UCCT on a more personal level, not just via internet, though I have loved my experience thus far!
It is always a pleasure getting involved with NGOs that really try and make a difference and Urunji Child-Care Trust is definitely one of these. I am glad I had the opportunity to meet Ian Maliseni, he really is someone we should look up to. Keep on going with the good work!
I worked as an online volunteer for Urunji Child-Care Trust and even through the distance I felt touched by the feeling and the goodwill of making people's life better on each touch we had. It's amazing to know that we still have people worried about make peace happen. Long life, Urunji Child-Care Trust!
I enjoyed writing articles for this organization on a voluntary basis. Their programs reflect some of the issues closest to my heart, which things I like to write about. Their response to queries is fast and effective. I wouldn't mind contributing to their work again and again.
Great NGO, very helpful, kind and caring organisation. Honest and hardworking even when the job is unrelated to the work of their NGO they take it very seriously. The little interactions here and there has shown that they understand their purpose and they are out to achieve it.
I've greatly enjoyed my time volunteering with Urunji. The staff members are very welcoming and are all passionate about the work that they do. They have been very open to my ideas and I feel that we've created a great partnership. They do very important work in the communities around Lilongwe and it's a privilege to get to collaborate with them.
