Hulhule Island Hotel has the distinction of being the only hotel on the island where international airport is located. It is less than 5 minutes travel by surface from the airport and complimentary hotel shuttles are available round the clock for the convenience of the guests. The closest island Male’, the capital city is 10 minutes boat ride away from the airport island. We came here for a drink and found the champs bar to be full. We then found enough and more seats at the Faru cafe. To our disappointment this place has the worst service in the whole of the hotel. The food and drinks are ok but you won’t find anyone serving you. Sometimes you might feel it’s also because of your skin colour. What we pay is also money . A big thumbs down 👎 to the service here .

I even managed to find a reef wall there, which was surprising. The water isn't very clear and it's very close to the airport.
If you have to stay on the same island with the airport it's a good solution, but for the proper Maldives experience you have to go to other islands.

Hulhumale island hotel available Nice rooms with Ocean view. Has multiple restaurants and staffs are nice and smart provide better service . However,affordable price during season time. From the restaurant provides verity of food width delusion taste

Champs bar is champ at price. Completely clean you out and the snacks are quite average. Bill for two could easily go up to $150. Careful.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my self about Hulhule hotel staff. It was such a great experience here today with my colleague birthday. I haven’t Plan anything for my friends birthday and I just informed hotel staff here “jagu”about this. Such a short notice he and his manager (Utkarsh Faujdar) arrange everything such a nice way I cannot express my self how happy I am.. they made a Birthday cake for my friend and also printed her pic for me .. their hospitality is way above than others.. friendly and attentive. It’s really a customer focus and customer first service they’re providing.. wish you all the best Mr jagu and Mr Utkarsh and the all staff .. Thank you very much for everything you guys done. For us !!!

A convenient place to stay for your transit to the islands. The rooms are nice, with all the amenities you might expect (including a pillow menu). The breakfast has a good selection, but please print out if your reservation has breakfast included - we forget and they charged us. Staff are nice, especially in the restaurant.

Hotel is okstaffs are good, polite tho some of them are little grumpy. However max of them are nice. Hotel is very pricey, expensive. Rooms and food both..if you need to stay 1 or 2 days extra than your plan (booked room) than good luck and that time only room will be available is upgraded room even you wont find any difference than your regular room 🤣🤣!! There is free shuttle boats to Male island every 20 minites i guess!!

The only deluxe property for businessman to do work in Male' city by crossing over by boat in less than 10 mts. As also to relax over an alcoholic drink if you are a non Maldivian passport holder( Male' city restaurants don't permit alcohol respecting local laws)
The price value equation is lopsided and sort of monopoly pricing .
Food generally is good but there arev frequent change in service staff and you tend up being serviced by a waiter who is learning.
The hotel shows no emergency in doing up their tired rooms. Being the only hotel in the Airport island.
Chef Ravi is a long timer and food is consistently good.

Strictly okay property with WiFi only available in the lobby area for free strange indeed , for the prices they charge ! The rooms are old and from a different era. Brand positioning of this property reflects a confused state of mind of the management , whether they wish to cater to the tourist segment or the business traveller. The priority only appears to be to rip off the visitor with a single eye on the cash tillers ringing.

The staff are delightful and do their best to showcase a deteriorated, run down old hotel which appears to have lacked owner investment since the 90s. Could be far better 👎

VERY VERY DANGEROUS PLACE ! Please all be careful and better avoid to go there! First of all the most awful service in Maldives with uneducated Indian waiters who cheat with the bills and money! Especially waiter KUMAR! We ordered a bottle of wine and after we finished it we paid and left! Then after 15 min we were walking across the place again and suddenly another waiter stopped us and said we didn't pay anything! Then their Supervisor came and F&B manager KK who was very very rude and very unprofessional and didn't solve the problem, he just said sorry it was not posted and u have to pay twice! We were shocked! The F&B manager doesn't know what is going in his place and moreover he was so rude to us that we thought he would start to hit and fight! As per him cameras and system showed we didn't pay! It's a magic how professionally that waiter KUMAR cheated! Later we found the way how he did it: : these waiters collect the old bills from previous guests (which usually people never take) and then they save it - later when there is a another customer comes with the same common bill amount - waiter just presents already existing old bill and customer pays it! That's how their waiters avoid to put it to the system and just takes the money!
There is a great MAFIA working in that place without any service and any professionalism! We have been so many places in Maldives but this is the most hobble and dangerous one!
Dear GM, please kindly look at this matter which happens in your place!

Absolutely TERRIBLE service. If anyone tries to sell you internet access, its a SCAM. go to the cafe and connect for free. Rediculously OVERPRICED for a THREE STAR EXPERIENCE

Note: Notice how nearly ALL reasonably good reviews are written by "local guides"?? Dont listen to any of that rubbish. Go to good quality guesthouse on Hulhumale instead. They ALL have better service than this dump

I did my booking for transit with a friend on the way from India to my island. And booking confirmed the room for 2 adults. And while check in we were not allowed to stay in one room. Tried to cancel but could not get the refund even. Asked to book another room for the other person.

Very very over priced rooms, food and beverages.

The pool area is also just as run down with the tables and chairs falling to bits. Poor service with the staff looking fed up with being there.

At all costs I would not wish to stay here, however with it being the only hotel within spitting distance from the airport, guest are forced to have to use it.

Not good - avoid.

Situated next to the airport so can be a little noisy. Very handy to ferry boats and airport. Nice pool but closed at night. Small beech area. Small gym. Sports bar is popular, restaurant is ok. Food and beverages on the pricy side buy then again so is the whole country.

Rooms are just about ok. Nothing fancy. But a nice pool area and beach area. That's the plus point for the hotel. Not the best view in Maldives. But it's pretty good. But I gave it only 3 stars because it's Maldives, I expect more.
