If you can survive in a beautiful island without drinking water, Holiday Island is ideal destination. I am writing review staying in Island. Hotel is not providing drinking water despite 8-9 reminders. After 9 remainders, hotel is saying, we will provide drinking water tomorrow 12:30 pm. How come a person can survive without drinking water?
It's mentioned in my booking for Honeymooners they provide fruit basket, which is not provided.
It has been mentioned in booking wind surfing and canoying is free. But they don't provide you any stuffs based on your needs.
If you are vegetarian, never think of coming to this hotel.
Island is good in ambience, but no one can survive without drinking water. I rated low despite great ambience giving importance to survival.response / report this review -

Very beautiful quiet island . But the hospitality of the hotel is very bad. First of all it took so many hours just for a very short transfer as the group of hotels wanted to save on collecting all guests from their group of villas together . The hospitality at the reception is very bad and the employees at the desk were not friendly at all. We booked a package including food and transfers . Our flight leaves at 20:35 and the hotel check out policy is sharp 12 . You have to hand over room keys at 12 even if your flight is at 20:35 and you get no lunch and just sit outside the hotel . There is no flexibility with the management for specific cases where the flight is so late and there is no other place to go as it’s the hotel is the only place in this island .

Isolated and peaceful stay. Perfect for couples of all age and family. Clear sky and crystal clear water. Resort staff friendly helpful. Cleanliness five stars. Highly recommended.

Holiday Island offers a different experience on land to that of its neighbour, Sun Island. A smaller island nestled in just behind Mamigili Beyru, Holiday Island Resort is somewhat quieter, smaller and more intimate. Perfect for those looking to get away from it all!
All 142 rooms in Holiday Island Resort are air-conditioned beach bungalows within feet of the water’s edge. Designed with peace in mind, the classic whitewashed walls and cane furniture creates a calm environment in keeping with the island location. For those travelling with children or in larger numbers, family rooms are available consisting of two connecting rooms.
All meals are served buffet-style in the main restaurant and offer a wide variety of both Western and Asian cuisine. The bar and coffee shop are open all day and have a-la-carte refreshments available. Beautiful and quiet resort. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and the bungalows are surrounded by the nature. You can enjoy the snorkeling trips organized by the local diving center or simply relax on the white beach. There is also a free taxi boat that can bring you to the nearest resort (Sun Island Resort, which is bigger but less charming) in order to snorkel on the local reef. There are also many other sport-activities available, but in a paradise like that you won't definitely play tennis or mini-golf, but rather ENJOY the sea-life and the sun.

This is a better place to take real rest for mind and body provided you never secure a SIM card/roaming facility. If worried about business, go to Meera Bar, enjoy the internet only when you decide to open your WiFi. Moderately good **** facilities available. For better utility of money book half board (b'fast & Dinner) go to nearby islands enjoy nature ( incase if very casual, may not find differences between islands/food).
