Beautiful resort. But if you going to celebrate your honeymoon it probably is not best choice for you. Hotel specializes on group and family’s. The children are everywhere: beach, pool, restaurants If money is the determining factor for you then you can have very good deal with hotel. Don’t forget you will need fly from Male airport to Maamigili airport. Take a short time drive and speed boat.

Loved the resort.. well maintained.. polite staff. Beautiful beaches and lot of activities to entertain our self..
Food is priced on the higher side.. and the buffet spread for breakfast and dinner is sort if repetitive Other than this There is no concern about hospitality or maintenance or services of the resort.
Plan your trip to this plce u will not regret it

Extremely beautiful resort. Super organized activities and the food is awesome.

I honestly have not been to anywhere with as much warmth and hospitality.

I suggest Half-Board meal plan for best value for money. Water bungalow is beautiful. However, if you are not big on swimming I suggest you lodge at Superior beach villas. It also has best value for money including proximity to the fun spots.

The security is amazing and everything works. Please note that there is no CCTV. Another downside is there is free WiFi only in the rooms and selected (few) spots like Main bar. Whatever the case I'd advise not more than a week stay for maximum fun.

I'd definitely look forward to a next visit.

Sun Island is a very beautiful place! Cleanliness and Scenic beauty are it's top positives. However the place fails when it comes to services. It's chaotic coordination. Very delayed when it comes to delivering services. No coordination between departments. Reception is completely lost when it comes to check in check out. We could not perform any activities like scuba snorkelling since there was so much confusion with the reception desk. The buggy system is so delayed. Communication is a big lack. No call backs on request.
Was there for my birthday but it was quite a disappointment. The cake at the hotel room ended up having ants on it!

This is a really lovely resort on a most beautiful island. The staff were all so helpful and nothing was too much trouble The villa we stayed in was also really good + was kept immaculately clean. The food was awesome and was enjoyed by all of us immensely. We had great fun snorkeling. It was so good to see all the brightly coloured fish. What an experience!

The resorts main advantage is the location: the Maldives are stunning. But the all-in-clusive isn't a full all-in, you can only eat at designated restaurants, have a set place in a buffet restaurant where the food is mediocre and drinks like cocktails aren't included in most places. Still, all-in is probably cheaper then paying for everything. The homes on the water have a basic interior. The staff isn't fully focused on providing service. There are a lot of Russians here. The views and surroundings are amazing, though.

I love the island environment and ideal for family holiday. The staffs were very friendly. Food excellent. Island itself is very well maintained and developed keeping its natural beauty un touched. Its crystal clear lagoon is amazing. Manta and shark feeding is very interesting. Children and adults enjoy taking pictures seeing feeding this friendly wild creatures.

You can't see sunset from Most of sunset villas. Can't even see ocean. Food could be little better, water sports are first class, including scuba diving. Island is big so you can enjoy walk, jogging or cycling. Internet sucks sometimes. Most of the staff just can't stop staring at your woman. Overall we had a good time..

Enchanting! It's the place of dreamswas more than I expected it to be.Maldivian in every sense and pushing the bat of island resorts ever higher.Great reception by staff , rooms very clean. Most flooring within the resort is wooden and still impeccably well maintained. You won't feel the need to leave. There are to many activities from all-you-can-think water sports to a fully fledged sports centre. The surrounding waters are crystal clear.Enjoy the walls , get a bike if u can't walk.Very beautiful placejust brilliant 🤗🤗🤗

This is a perfect place for honeymooners. Sun Island resort and Spa looks good for those who prefer relaxing resort but not on a tiny island. It is not luxery hotel and needs renovation. Steel it remains to be a perfect option for a romantic getaway!

What a let down !!!!!!! After having a fab week in Sri Lanka we had high expectations. How wrong we were. Our room on arrival was dated , tired and not up to 4 star standard. Even the shower was outside!!!!!!!. We were met with quite rude staff when we requested a room change but when we were moved what a massive difference. The beach and ocean views were fantastic and our room was cleaned twice a day by a very polite gent ( didn't catch his name). The excursions were very over priced and the shops on the resort very expensive !!!! All inclusive only applied to half of the bars and restaurants!!!! Overall, the resort did not offer the real Maldives experience and service in bars was virtually non existent and so slow. Very disappointed!!!!!!!

Stayed here for one week. This resort deserve visiting only if you choose water Bungalow or superior Bungalow don't hide in the middle rooms. Prices of water sport are little high e.g 30 min Jet ski for $60. Gust restaurant is really huge and it has two sections and same food. Tasty food most of the time and some times their food is awful especially Chinese food😤. I recommend people who look for nice place for holiday and acceptable prices to visit this resort. Thank you.

The beach is, if you have a superior bungalow, really nice. However you can get unlucky with many dead corrals on your way to the sea and in it, if you have a standard room. Don't skimp on the room, get a superior bungalow.

Everything else is a 3 star experience, not 4! This is not a luxury hotel. Even with all inclusive you end up paying for every little thing. No water sport is included and prices are high.

Mosquitoes are ubiquitous. But unlike water sport, are free. Sometimes the resort feels like a mosquito feeding machine with tourists supplying the food. But they do what they can and smoke the island twice daily.

The food is.. Ok. They have a giant 1000 table feeding hall with a buffet and 4 coffee machines. I felt reminded of eating at university. Another main point is.. Dinner is done at 8.30 pm. If you want food after that you need to go to one of the other paid restaurants.

The main bar is fun. The events are OK and the music not bad at all.

Having said all of this, it was a great experience with the best beach I've seen in my life. Expect a fantastic beach and a 3 star hotel and you'll have the vacation of your life.

Very beatiful island. Stayed for 2 weeks. Best supreme water bungalows is between 130-160. You should have all inclusive because prices are high. Food in main restaurant is not great but there are other restaurants to choose from time to time. Would recommend it! Nice staff and very welcoming.

Very nice and quiet resort (just if you dont meet people from China). Superb beach, clean and quiet see, good for snorkeling, plenty of daily trips organized by hotel, sharks feeding every day. Real paradise to relax. One of the best location ever visited.

Beautiful nature, amazing location .where they lack - poor customer service, especially at the main restaurant. I did not feel welcome and it seems that other people have similar experience. Rooms need a bit of updating! Good diving, well it is Maldives. Work on customer service and update the place, will be awesome, but sorry 3 stars ( 5 for location and 2 stars for the service :( ).
