This resort was perfect for our honeymoon. The staff was so nice and accomadating. They have a free snorkelling tour in the morning that is the perfect amount of time. Many options for private snorkeling tours. The surf there is amazing and the boat tours are great.
The beach and whole island is super clean. I've never seen such beautiful water in my life.
I have to say the food was mediocre for how much they charge. I understand most of it is shipped in but it wasn't anything to brag about. I would recommend doing one of there packages for food tho cause it would be pretty pricey if you don't.
We will defitnetly be back!

I have a tendency to love experiences in the moment, then as I reflect, feel just okay about it. So I am writing this review after having traveled to this resort almost 1 year ago. My feeling is the exact same. This place is paradise!

The staff is amazing. I have a severe seafood allergy. And I've never been treated so well in my life. The island doctor called so we could coordinate the location of my Epi pen in case of emergency. Of course, the staff is so careful and professional that there were no emergencies.

Snorkeling, eating dinner on the beach while listening to the ocean waves. It's an experience I will never forget. 1 year later, I still reminisce about this trip, and my friends are fed up with listening to Maldives stories!

This is the first private island resort. This resort is well maintained n methodical. The staff here are very cooperative and helpful. As a surprise to our honeymoon, we were gifted with a wine bottle. The dishes prepared here are presented in an awesome way and indeed the food is nice. Shark feeding was a great experience. Saw many sharks , manta rays and lobsters.
To mention the last, but never the least, we had a GRAND breakfast here at Kandooma.

Beautiful, quiet, relaxing resort. Only here for a few days, but left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Amazing buffet on offer for meals, a wide selection, always fresh and delicious. A basic gym if you feel the need to burn some of the calories from the buffet, or else spend the day in and around the pool. Already planning a return!

Great place for a week of vacation. Many water activities possible. The quality of services is very good. The variety in breakfast buffet is excellent. The quality of good in the alacarte restaurant is also undoubtedly good. Once we complained about the food we got, and the chef came to us an politely apologized and made it up for it the following days. He also ensured that we did not go hungry during our boat ride back to the airport by making us a packed friut salad. The swimming pool is well maintained. The beaches are good. The noise from the local island nearby was a problem. But a temporary one. So we would not complain much. All in all, this is a great place to be in.

We stayed in Holiday Inn for 4 days on our honeymoon. Beautiful island it was. We stayed in the beach villa, very spacious and a view to the beach. Island can be covered by walking. The buffet has a lot of varieties, covering Asian and western cuisine. The resort has good swimming pools. We also had snorkeling lessons and tour covered in the package. Good value for the money.

Beautiful staff! Lovely people, so polite, so friendly, just amazing treatment!
I have a lots of food allergy and the staff are doing everything to help me and make me happy. Specifically the manager Bandula and the chef Min, they simply do everything for me, from breakfast to dinner they really pay attention to what can I eat, and how to make me happy without any health problem. Such a good and kind people!

Nice resort. Staff is extremely nice. Amazing snorkeling organised by the hotel. But if you want to surf be ready an extra 90$ pers/day to have access to the surf beach of the resort. Unacceptable practise for Europeans!

Not worth the money. Location is not good, local island opposite the resort. Staff is not friendly, food wasn't to great, not a nice varriety on the menu. Seems like theres no maintenance, the firts immpression you get when you arrive on the speedboat is the grass roof that is falling apart. The reception seats are dirty. I just didn't enjoy anything about this resort.

Lovely place, very friendly staff and a place you can actually holiday.You should head off to this place if you are looking for a relaxing and soothing holiday. Stay in water villas at least for a night. Amazing experience

Family friendly place where we had an amazing time. Not the most stunning resort, but we enjoyed the facilities and the service. The children loved the kids club. Buffet restaurant was good.
The main front beach is ok, but there can be strong currents at the other beaches around the island. Scuba diving is good, they created some sort of coral "farm" just off the beach, which attracts a lot of fish. You can borrow all the necessary equipment free of charge.
There are a lot of activities available, so there is always something to do.
The rooms are fine. They have an "outside" shower, which is nice. Once again, not the most glamorous accomodation, but clean and comfortable.
Overall, it was a great experience, highly recommended.

Nice place to visit and have water sports.
Kids and family friendly.
Turtle , dolphin and corals can be explored.
Nice white sand and beach view villa.
All continental foods available.

Cons: Food Expensive .
Only few sports are complimentary like snorkeling.
6am to 6pm access to beach and pool .
Open shower in all beach view villa. No bath tub.

My family and I had the pleasure to stay a week in this lovely resort where we found courteousness from all the staff of the island. Great place either for children and adults due to the possibility to organize several activities. Our room was beach-front and its size more than desirable. Clean and aired, we really liked it. Highly recommended.

Amazing place, serene and quiet. Though you should carry some extra bucks, the food gets a bit expensive. A must visit. Good food, and you can fairly modify that as per your need. We dint have any problem finding Halal. Staff is cooperative and friendly.

Great beach. Water sports, fitness, spa. Kids club to keep kids entertained. Most importantly, great food! Large breakfast and dinner buffet with everything from Thai to Indian to spaghetti to roast beef, even Mexican! Christmas and new years meals are particularly impressive! 5 star.
