A perfect place for an hint of paradise. The location is superb, the sand bank astonishing, the food spectacular and the sea wonderful. The reef is very lively: only by doing snorkel and we saw really a lot of fishes.

Terrible service. If its a special ocasion, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Long story but they completely ruined a very special moment for my girlfriend and me. And they didnt care at all about it.

Awesome resort.. spent our honeymoon there. Beautiful and absolutely romantic. Food is good. Breakfast is limited. Needs more options and variety. Buffet was good. Staff are very friendly and service orientated.

Great place just for rest and relaxation. But can be boring if you do nothing. Go out for extra activity programs. It ain't cheap but it's worth it. Staff are very friendly and professional looking for solutions when it is demanded. However some of overwater rooms are not actually overwater. Also views and access to snorkeling point differs alot room to rooms. But this is inevitable for natual island resorts in Maldives. Becarefull for which rooms are reserved for you.

This is a small island , not too much room, you can totally relax in here , casual but not dirty, you can see the ocean all day but nothing to do.
All staffs are professional, they smile is so friendly but not fake.
We take the local tour for looking shakes had breakfast. It's quite expensive but valuable (around 200 US??).
Food is Italian style, it;s good but but not good for asian.response / report this review -

Reasonable resort, reasonable price some staffs are very friendly especially bars and restaurants. Only one lady therapist for Spa.

We had garden villa with water access.Minimal bathroom, no kettle, hair conditioner was too weak, unless you take full board (75$ per person per day), all the food is unreasonably expensive, low variety of fruits for breakfast and smoothies. Great view from the garden villa, very clean (cleaning a couple times a day), training gym and yoga at 10am, friendly staff at the diving center, beautiful garden with flowers

It was a wonderful experience! The resort is just what you would expect in Maldives. Unlike most of the other known islands, this one is secluded. Walk on the long sandy beach, sea on all three sides is just one of its kind.
Clean rooms, beautiful views, good staff, great service, hearty and good breakfast.
But the food served during Lunch/dinner was a bit disappointing.
And yes if you opt for buffet, boyyou better be there in time. The management will not consider that you are on holiday, or the fact that you have paid considerable amount for the buffet. ( I wish they do something about that).
But, They also have a restaurant over water, thats a wonderful place to be. The staff there is courteous. But again the food is not so great.
Apart from that, the rest is just fabulous.

We were there at Gangehi Island to catch the sea plane to MLE airport. As we arrived there, we came to know that our sea plane was delayed due extreme weather.
We were waiting at the jetty for 2hours or more. Since we were with Children we requested to buy lunch from the hotel and use the restroom.
However, request was denied and informed us they were full to provide lunch and a common restroom. Again we asked at least provide some food for children since they were very hungryagain declined we asked to go the jetty.
Finally after 2 and 1/2 hours of staying at the jetty we came to know Sea Plane is arriving. Finally a lady from resort was came to go to the sea platform. When wanted to board the boat to reach the platform the Guard Malek(Bangladeshi national) started stopping us being boarded on the boat.
Any how the boat crew were good and understand the meaning of hospitality they boarded us to the boat.
I don't know at any point they would be good to their guests, since their staff and management do not have any humanity.
Don't go to this island Bad Management.

Tiny clean island with white sandy beach and beautiful coral reef close to the shore.
Beach villas face the water and you can step out in to the water directly.
Simple food in restaurant.
Very friendly Dive Center!
It takes an hour to reach Gangehi by plane from Male with 3 stops on the way..
