Loved every moment of being there. Had the jacuzzi Villa with an all inclusive plan. Courteous team, and picturesque surroundings. The house reefs were splendid and we got to see a diverse life underwater while snorkeling.

Since 1972, this island resort has been hosting guests from all over the world. The island, just 20 minutes ride on a speed boat ferry from the airport, is about 500 meters across with most guest rooms located on the perimeter. Four restaurants serve a variety of cuisine. The main one is open 24/7. The breakfast buffet has just about anything you'd want. We booked a Bed and Breakfast stay, so other meals were added to our room tab. Expect resort prices plus 22% in service fee and govt tax.

For activities, we enjoyed the manta ray open water snorkeling tour and the sunset dolphin tour. (It was more like "race with other boats to find and chase some dolphins.") We returned just before sunset. On the manta ray trip, we found four huge rays at the cleaning station where they come seasonally to have their gills cleaned by little fish. The guides were very helpful, and the rays were awesome.

Bring your snorkeling gear, or rent a set for about USD20 per day. You can snorkel at the beach and see lots of beautiful fish, a few turtles -- and small harmless sharks if you venture out to where the reef drops off. Again, expect resort prices for meals, minibar snacks, and excursions. But also expect beautiful beach access, balmy weather, and time to relax. Staff are friendly and helpful. We heartily recommend Bandos.

Beautiful location. Guest rooms rim the island which is only about 450 m by 400 m in size. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is varied and plentiful.

Bandos Maldives is an amazing resort in a beautiful island of Maldives. The island has colorful corals and fishes that could be seen during snorkeling. The staff were friendly and helpful. This resort has multiple activities and good restaurants. We enjoyed the sunset dolphin cruise the most.

Fabulous place for relaxed stay. The rooms are ever clean and extremely spacious. It is built on entire island and rooms are haalu 10 steps away from the beaches. Prestine clean beaches. Water activities are highly priced. Food options are great too. There are numerous activities and family basis and there are some local souvenirs shops too

For all inclusive there was very little and or limited choice of drinks. Pool bar service was very poor. At dinner I asked for a teaspoon and the waiter did not know what I was talking about until I took the desert to him in a small pot and showed him the table spoon did not fit. Simpler to add the 22 % on prices instead of ++. Not very much included in all inclusive.

Paradise on earth. Friendly nature, man, shark. Sometimes is raining but is warm. And is nice to swimm in rain. Diving with color fishes is a nice experience. Food is good but for an european too spicey. Room daily cleaning is perfect.

Best resort of my life. The breakfast and dinner buffets both had quality food that changes throughout the week. Room was perfect and the beach was close, clean, uncrowded and also has chairs.

Excellent resort, loved it! We took the all inclusive package and it worked well. We also went on the Whale Shark expedition, but we did not find the sharks, so I would not recommend this excursion, lost a day on the beautiful island.

It's a good place to go snorkelling. U can see sharks and a variety of marine life. Corals are dead. There are better islands where u can see bull sharks and whale sharks too. This island is nearby male and very close to paradise Island.

The second oldest resort of Maldives, Bandos is a 10 minute boat ride from the airport.

A beautiful resort with one of the best in house reefs. The visibility the waters is over 20m, so it's perfect for snorkeling; but if you're more adventurous you should most definitely scuba.

The staff of the hotel is amiable and they'll make you feel right at home right from the get go.

The resort has many activities going on right through the day from sunrise yoga to late night karaoke, ipso facto you'll always have your hand full. Though I'd personally suggest watching the sunset and sunbathing in the warm sun.

In my books this place is one of the most beautiful places on the planet.
