If you want to experience Mauritius and mingle with the locals you have to stay at the ONS Motel Guest House, in the heart of Mahebourg. The accommodation is very clean and presentable. Nizam was gracious enough to arrange a number of outings for us, consisting of fishing, swimming and island hopping. The picnic lunch he provided was scrumptious. On our drives to these destinations Beelac was kind enough to enlighten us on the history of Mauritius, stopping at a number of historical sites and points of interest.

A big thank you to Nizam, Beelac, Ebrahim and staff for making our stay at the ONS so memorable. We had a wonderful time!

The stay was amazing. The hotel is very close to the airport and is located in the center of the city of Mahebourg. The hotel is very clean, spacious and well maintained. The housekeeping and breakfast service is par excellence. The self drive car rental service is one of the best things about this hotel.
Ibrahim and the staff were very welcoming, friendly, helpful and co-operative. Ibrahim is a very kind, helpful, resourceful and friendly person. I would definitely recommend ONS and would love to stay here whenever I'll visit Mauritius again.

At ONS Motel you can expect great service. I have stayed three days in there hotel. The rooms where nice, location was good and close to the beach aswel. I could even rent a car with them and they showed me some excursion. I went on one trip with them to see the dolphins at Flic en Flac, i can recommend everybody to do this with them. So overall i was very happy with my stay.

ONS Guesthouse is a great option for visitors to Mauritius. Rooms are very clean and quite large. There also is a nice dining room just off of a balcony with a great view of Mahebourg. The best kept secret is a very high quality gym facility with many different types of exercise equipment and weights. The staff is also very kind and helpful at providing travel advice. It also possible to rent cars from ONS, which is very convenient. I would definitely recommend ONS to visitors to Mauritius.
