Good food in a cozy environment. Lodges looked quite nice as well. However ultra slow service. Don’t go there if you are feeling hungry and want to eat straight away. They seemed to be understaff but no apologies for the client. We had to ask several time how much longer is it gonna be

A great stay on arival or departure. 4 minutes from the airport. Also has a great restaurant.

One star - for good dinner menu
One star - history of the building
No star - staff are not resourceful, did not know the area or amenities nearby
No star - for breakfast - their impetus to serve was extremely slow. Asked for an omelette and the service lady looked at me as if i asked her to do a Beef Wellington. Very poor selection of breakfast. Appears to show no motivation.
No star - we stayed in one of the huts. However was first allocated to another old room which appears to be poorly kept. Cobwebs, geckos, lizards and spiders were too many in this place. Did not feel safe staying here nor in the huts.
Summary:
- poorly maintained rooms and very poor wifi
- will need proper area maintenance and repair
- breakfast selection certainly can be better since it is included in the price
- staff can be more informative about the area
- it is best for this place to be a restaurant only instead of a B&B.
- B&B services are sub standard and overpriced. Lots of room for improvement.
Have your dinner here but do not stay here. Guaranteed to get no sleep because of the wide variety of animals lurking in your rooms.response / report this review -

La maison est très belle, de type colonial, notre table était sur la terrasse à l'entrée avec vue sur le jardin. Et là nous avons pu manger des faratahs avec un assortiment de plusieurs légumes mauriciens. Ce fut excellent. L'endroit se prête à beaucoup de réceptions de groupes d'ailleurs.

Très belle endroits au milieu des arbres, reposant. Les bungalows sont bien décoré et confortable. (Je n'avais pas d'eau chaude pour la douche le matin)
La maison principale est magnifique.

We had dinner here twice during our stay in Mahebourgh and both times we were absolutely satisfied. Food is excellent and has this little special touch that sets a restaurant apart from other good, but exchangeable restaurants.
Staff was very friendly and spoke good English. Prices are not cheap but you get good value for your money. Location is also very nice.response / report this review -
