The environment and food is nice but the wait is very long..we waited about an hour for a crispy chicken

Very friendly service and really tasty octupus curry that came with some complimentary garlic bread. Returned later in the evening for a capirinha cocktail, which was sweet enough for a dessert, but exactly what I wanted. Recommended.

Great view for lunch or dinner.

Food us excellent and place is cosy. Beautiful view over the waterfront. Very well situated. Price for main course is ok but dessert is slightly expensive. Worth the visit though. Recommended

Very nice location with a great view on the waterfront and the Lion Mountain.
Cozy place.
Relatively pricey but excellent food quality.
Service was very slow and worst of it all i got my main course before the entree. I wasn't the only one at my table with this issue.
The food was worth the wait though. The seafood crepes were amazing. The steaks were cooked as asked.
If you get seated indoors, or just go to the toilet you will be surrounded by disturbingly pink walls.
Theres also a corner where they sell dresses. Seriously?
Plenty parking space all around mahebourg. Good opportunity to walk along the whole waterfront and end up in front of the restaurant for lunch.
To sum up, the food experience was great. As for the rest, theres plenty room for improvement. For the price, the old teared up A4 sheets of the menu could have at least been laminated. Make sure to reserve a table beforehand as the restaurant gets filled up pretty fast on peak days.response / report this review -

One star - for having reliable wifi
Second star - good presentation of dishes
No star - for “card machine” did not work - rather strangely.
No star - total food bill was MUR2000 but they wanted to charge MUR4000 - asked to recalculate properly.
No star - bananas flambeè had bananas the size of a worm. Extremely small and thin “2 inches in length and 3 inches thick”. With an addition of a teaspoon of vanilla ice cream - all for MUR350 not worth bothering with this dessert.

- Setting is decent
- Food is tasty

Had a really nice meal here. The restaurant area was an open courtyard and well decorated. The service was good and we were recommend the chef's special deal of the day which included dessert. We had starters and drinks as well and it was all delicious and really good value. The staff were friendly to us as well. Would recommend it.
