Nice place to chill during the day. Have food stands where you can get different kind of foods. You have also nearby shops and you can hear the birds singing

Excellent street food available in and around the area but the garden itself has a bad reputation for being frequented by prostitutes at its least busy hours. Nonetheless, there's a museum close by and a plethora of different street food vendors that one may choose from to fit anyone's palate.

Garden with huge trees in the centre of Port Louis.Shady with benches.Ideal for a stop,full of statues of eminent personalities.Also the best places for people going on any strike.

Nice place to relax in the capital. Many historical monuments, plants and good food. The only problem is its public toilet, boots recommended!

The "Jardin de la compagnie" public garden in Port Louis, Mauritius has greatly improved since my childhood. It used to be unkempt but now it's well tended and clean. A nice spot to take a break.

Charming park that has clearly seem better times. The banyan trees and statues/plaques make the place worth visiting when strolling about port louis.

This place is alive, lots of people passing by and it's safe police officers always standby. KFC:) not too far from the compagnie garden museum next to it, a place rich of history.
