Fantastic beaches, great facilities,very friendly staf. Great location to go snorkeling, visit other Islands etc. Nothing is to much trouble, a great little cafe excellent food and great value. Definitely well worth a visit.

The park is attached to the Shandrani resort, so if you stay there you can snorkel from the beach to it. Otherwise you can get one of the boat tours that stops there. The visibility is really good and has a very diverse marine life to see.

This is a great day out and a must do in Mauritius. It's a marine park reserve with massive beautiful corals (although they aren't colourful but bleached) and lots and lots of fish. You get a small boat at Blue Bay (should cost around Rs250 pp) and they take you out onto the bay to snorkel for an hour. Be sure to take bread to attract the fish near the boat. Then you spend an hour or so on the ile des deux cocos, a beautiful beach island - I recommend taking a picnic with you.

The snorkeling is incredible. There are thousands of fish who swim right upto you. . The coral is not as good as at the Crescent which also has underwater Hindu statues. There are boats for hire which can be hired individually or in groups. The price is negotiable and they take you out for about an hour. It is best to bring your own mask and flippers as they are not always available . There are also glass bottom boats for people who are not keen to swim. Sundays are very busy at Blue Bay so it is better to go during the week. The boat drivers do a certificate in underwater life and are interesting to talk too.

Nice place. But if possible bring your own snorkling equipment. What you otherwise get is so so and no fins..
Trip a little short timewise if you are a more experienced snorkeler.

Excellent snorkelling, although the coral damage is extensive from too many boats. Saw many reef fish, and even a 1.5m hound needlefish (I fled). Negotiate a good price with boats for the best snorkelling spots, expect to pay 200 to 400 rs for 45m in the bay depending on your haggling skills, group composition and time of day.

Beautiful, clear waters, but unfortunately the corals are mostly dead. Still plenty of marine life, and nice place for boating and wind surfing

A beautiful reef right at the shore. Very amazing for snorkeling, diving, or even a glass bottom boat tour. Very colorful and a high variety of corals and fish

Best to visit during non peak days where the relatively small beach gets crowded. Every year the marine park corals get further bleached. Therefore as time goes by you will and more dead corals. I would recommend snorkeling (on a beautiful day) instead of the limited time glass bottom ride.

One of the beautiful places to go out in s glass bottom boat and also snorkel over the coral. Watch the planes taking off or landing you can almost touch them. There are also a number of organised tours from Blue Bay where you are taken out for the day having a BBQ and seeing the island from the sea side a trip well worth making

A great place to be. Foreigners might dropped to their immediately upon their arrival ( during the day though ) and enjoy one of the best beaches in Mauritius.
Not only is the sea turquoise or the white fine-grained sand silky, the refreshing air breeze and the calm atmosphere forces your mind to relax.. yes ..it forces you to relax :)

Beautiful place quite preserved (still some junk lying around - mostly left by carefree picnicking mauritians). Loved the tour in the glass-bottomed boat with friendly and knowledgeable skipper Vimul - greatly recommend him. Awesome place for children to play in the clean calm shallow water.
