BEWARE ITS NOT A VILLA ITS AN APPARTMENT, AND A POOR ONE.

I stayed here with my wife in May 2015. The website described this as a luxury villa with a private beach. It was no such thing but rather a run down first floor apartment adjoining a busy 1 meter wide part of a very public beach. There were serious issues with no running water, rusting furniture, dangerous electric fittings and both ants and rats who were unwanted residents. The roof leaked badly which caused foul smelling black mould on the walls and ceilings. The area was not 'tourist friendly' and the locals were quite intimidating. The down stairs apartment was rented out to loud and inconsiderate groups of Indians who played loud music. The Internet was unbelievably slow with a speed that I recorded repeatedly as only 1 mps so it couldn't be used for streaming, sending photos etc. Even worse it was down for over half the time we were there and management response was very poor. The TV is some sort of cable/wi-fi system that caused the picture to be unwatchable, as if a white veil was over the scene. What should have been a relaxing holiday turned in to a nightmare. The beach itself was dangerous as the locals speeded up and moored their speed boats there meaning that you were in danger of serious injury. The beach is full of aggressive wild dogs who sniff and snarl at you as soon as you go near the water which was really scary. The accommodation was so bad that my wife and I contracted bronchitis most likely from the mould on the walls. All in all the property was so bad that my UK credit card company refunded my rental money as even they agreed I had been subject to serious misselling and a very false description of the property. The tripadviser website is full of dubious reviews from people who can never have even been there. Avoid at all costs is my advice. Considering the price of this place it would have been cheaper and definitely better just to book a package through a reputable travel agency and stayed in a good hotel in a good part of the island. The standard of the property is far below any acceptable standard in the 21 st century.
