MUST BOOK IN ADVANCE .. it’s worth it
We thoroughly enjoyed the finger licking experience with ox tail stew, Portuguese rice and coriander clams. Breads were served fresh and hot. Wonderful meal in Macau.

P.s. if you order the ever so raved African chicken, it may be spicy for those who can’t handle spices well.

Eveytime I visit Macau I need I must I die if I dont go to Alorcha. Is the best Portuguese food in Asia. Is worth the try. My favorited are the spanish clams and protuguese rise. YOU WILL LOVE THEM. Also you can try Octopus salad. The staff is lovely and they have good music!

We ordered African chicken, chicken curry, the signature cod dish, the cod-potato appetizer, and the coconut chicken. The appetizer was good. The sauces were good on the chicken dishes, but it was chopped up and full of bones in the Chinese style. This made it difficult to eat. The cod was made from dried fish and therefore had a strange taste, and was full of bones also. The bread and vegetables served alongside the food were very plain. The rolls were warm but nothing special. Considering the price we paid I think two stars are warranted. If the price was about half I think I would give it three stars. Perhaps we would have enjoyed the fried rice or something quite different. But we took the server's recommendations and were disappointed.

The restaurant is good and the waitresses are nice. It’s the first time for me to taste and the waitress kindly reminded me the dishes I ordered might be a lot to three ppl. Also, they helped my parents to pre-celebrate the anniversary. All in all, with nice dishes and waiters, I would recommend ppl should visit once when visiting Macau.

The presentation was great and the food was even better. A bit pricey, but the portion sizes more than made up for that; I was floored when they presented me with my meal. Highly recommend.

Lovely place with rustic, homey interior and pleasant, welcoming staff. We shared the African chicken and seafood rice, both were delicious. Some nice Portuguese wines on the menu as well.

Great food, but you HAVE to make reservations. Or, if you must walk in, try to be first in queue and hope you get one of the spaces freed up at 15mins after opening. Caldo verde, oxtail stew, and the grilled chicken all great choices!
