Another good place to visit in Ulaambataar. There are some lovely pieces of authentic buddhist art and iconography that survived the cultural purge. This can be a little tricky to find in situ in Mongolia so definitely worth a visit. It's a little pricey and if you want to take photos or videos you have to pay a great deal more. The museum has explanations in English and provides some great insight into the reign of the last Khaans.

This museum has been used by Bogd Khan. but the bad thing is to serve only an interpreter for foreign tourists

Very beautiful collection of historicals, nice temple, very nice Areal showing the difference between Tradition and modern asia. I didnt like the collection of stuffed animals though but i guess for somebody who is into it, it must be quite impressive.

Interesting piece of Mongolia's history. The last Bogd Khan was in power shortly before the change to socialism so it is still relatively recent history as well.

Not good. Unfriendly staff. Not much to see. Ridiculous charge for photography. In my opinion a no go.

Visited on a tour with Danista Nomad's. An interesting insight into the life of the Bogd and how he was chosen. A must see in Ulaan Bataar.

The palace of Mongolian last king Bogd khaan is one of must visit places in Ulaanbaatar. During the winter time you can only see the winter palace. But if you visit during summer, you can see the whole place

I went there when I was a child and absolutely loved it. That's all I remember but I intend to visit the Palace soon. It should be a gem of an attraction in UB today
