This place has his own magic. Being on the lake itself, surrounded by water, with sun shining the wholw day and listening the traffic of the boats passing the hotel everyminute. Really recommend to stay here;-)
Located almost an hour from the main town. Outside showers are nice. Breakfast was basic. Dinner was very average and over priced. Because of where the hotel is located there was no option other than to have dinner at the hotel and and they took advantage of that. The only way in and out of the hotel was via a boat. Staff were somewhat helpful
The worst thing about the hotel was the non stop noise from the passing noise. If you want a quite hotel this is not the place! Wouldn’t recommend staying here
Trapped at the resort for an expensive evening meal. Very rustic, but if you can live with rusticit's got a great sunrise on the east side. It will be loud once the boats start but that's normal for Inle lake.
A wonderful location with gorgeous views and very beautifully set up. The resort is starting to look pretty tired in places with decking starting to rot and tiles coming away around the pool area. The breakfast is comprehensive however the lunch and dinner is good but not great compared to the food options in the area. I hope this place is returned to the glory it once had soon. So beautiful.
The resort itself looks fantastic, and the staff is very attentive, helpful and polite. However, don't expect to have a relaxing stay in any floating resorts at Inle Lake, because of the extremely loud engines of the passing motor boats. They sound like you'd have a helipad right on your roof, and you'll start hearing them around 6AM. Furthermore, this resort is one hour boat ride away from the city, and it costs USD 30 (round trip) to get there. There are some attractions closer to the resort though, but you'll need a boat wherever you go.
Nice resort even if a bit outdated. Beautiful location, very serene place if you don't count the boats related noise (but you get that everywhere on Inle Lake). Rooms are spacious with balcony and an outside shower (there is another shower/bathtub in the bathroom). Good breakfast but the restaurant is a tad overpriced for dinner. You get in and out of the hotel by boat. Wifi is terrible as per pretty much in most places in Myanmar. Sunset and sunrise views are amazing.
Quite distansed place from all the attractions, you can exit the hotel only by boat which takes the price of the hotel few times higher than the price you consider at first.
Breakfast is good, the rooms are very noisy because the boats passing every minute around.
The restaurant is quite expensive while it seems like you don't have any other options cause the hotel is isolated by water.
Beautiful spot, unique overwater bungalow style accomodation with a pool. Food was very bland and unexciting compared with burmese food elsewhere
Very nice view and nice room. Only issue with the bathroom ( not enough water pressure and some issue with the joint of three bath)
Amazed by its floating style and wooden decoration. Staff are very friendly and English speaking is no problem there. You can order lunch and dinner at their restaurant which is blessing in Inle Lake. You can save some money for transportation to have lunch or dinner.
Added: Though hotel has been there for a long time, their well maintenance polishes the traditional and local theme of the place.
Lovely experience. The high point of our Myanmar trip was our stay at the resort. In fact we extended our stay by an additional night to really soak in the experience. Great effort by a remarkable lady who runs this place. Must visit.
Best hotel ever!!! We have a wunderful stay here. It is beautiful. Foods in the restaurant is delicious. Nearby floating garden and market. Have a great view for sun set and especially sun rise (right in our room). And the staff is extremely helpful and kind. Definitely be back here. If you want a view of sun rise up from a mountain, book room 102-104.
