Hostel is basically furnished and quite ok, breakfast is provided. the host are very friendly and helpful. The electric bike there is so so good, 5000kyat/ day, we take. Ebike from Morning to late afternoon but battery is still full ( 😀). Share bathroom is clean , hot water is good too, but prepare for towel yourself. Location is not far from old bagan, Good choice and giggly recommendaion for Backpacker and low budget tourists

It's cheap but breakfast is bad and I felt like being in a prision. Moreover, our room was very noisy due a machine outside.

Probably the cheapest option in Bagan. Rooms are basic, bed + small table, they are just a little bit bigger than the bed itself. Shared bathroom with hot shower. The sheets were clean, there was mosquito net in the window, it was not smelly inside. The family that is running the guest house is very friendly and helpful. You can rent e-bike here for a good price also. Simple breakfast: two toast breads (not grilled) + cold fried egg + jam + banana + tea or premixed coffee. Price for double room with fan and shared bathroom: 14000, single room 8000, they have also A/C room with private bathroom for 22000 - but I didn't see this one.

Double rooms are nice and clean, rooms without toilets are very small, prices are good, 5-8usd per person

Great place. They let us check in at 05:25 after arriving via night train from Mandalay. The rating is based purely on the ease of check in and the price. The. Real fast is not great and the rooms are very basic but it's just what you need and a good spot to be in when in Bagan

Amazing experience at Jasmine Villa. So cheap and a lovely family will host you, giving you everything you need and all the best informations you need to know, to have a great stay in Bagan.
Hot water, clean bathroom, fan, confortable bed and lots of smiles for only 8000Kyats for a single room.
And if you are french, you will maybe have the chance to meet Manu, a frenxh member of this family, who will give you precious tips, to enjoy as much as possible your stay in Bagan.

We wanted to stay there for the good price, which included breakfast, but as soon as we asked to change the eggs for bananas (my gf is vegan) they started yelling at us and made us do the check out at 9pm, giving us back the money and rushing us to leave. Once we left, they started following us in the street (the whole family) yelling to us that we took the key room, which we let on the bed. At this point everybody in the street and near bussines were looking at us, because the family was yelling really loud and threatening to fight with us.
In 2 years traveling all around the world, this is without any doubt the worst place I have ever been, and of course I never saw anything nowhere near to this.
