Absolutely amazing! Delicious food! I hogaño recommend. My husband and I tried the tea Leaf Salad, Steak with Peppercorn Sauce and Buttered Fish, all of them delicious. We will go again for sure.

Be wary of cleanliness! We were excited about going to this place when i read the other gushing reviews about the "french trained chef". We ordered. I happened to walk by kitchen and was stunned by what i sawto be clear i eat at street side vendors across the planetthe kitchen looked like very very unsanitary. Im talking old rotting food on the ground and surfaces that hadn't been cleaned in likely weeks. As soon as they noticed my head peaking in i was rushed away. Then i noticed in our seating area piles of old dirty dishes. I honestly haven't been nervous to eat food prepared for me beforeso we got our order to go and threw out the food (to be fair, the food looked good when it arrived). If you go, i suggest checking out the kitchen before ordering.

This is a little gem of a restaurant you should efinitely make the effort to find. Serving both French dishes and Asian dishes with French flair. I really enjoyed my Tea Leaf salad and grilled minced fish wrapped in a green veg and tasty tomato sauce. Local Myanmar Sauvingon Blanc was suprisingly as good as anywhere -- really. This will please both francophiles and Maynmarphiles. Search on Google Maps for "french restaurant Bagan". You won't be disappointed.

A real find in New Bagan. Very friendly owner and great food. We had butterfish in taragon sauce and pan fried seabass, which were both excellent. Wine and beer both available. Also does Asian dishes. Just off main drag next to Starbeam restaurant.

Food was delicious! The chef is local but has had training in France. (Strike up a conversation with him, he's so nice!) Definitely worth the trip if you want a little more mix than typical burmese food!

Best restaurant in New Bagan with the cutest owner ever who went to France to study in a gastronomic restaurant. Delicious food and at burmese price! Try pennywort leaves salad, mincefish and a glass of myanmar redwine. Real crush on this place

Squid salad (Asian style) was good, fresh and light and had the kick. Beef steak in black peppercorn sauce was surprising good, cooked to medium as ordered, tender and juicy. Fried butterfish with pasta was also good, a break from oily food in Myanmar.

TripAdvisor says it is closed. It is OPEN!! It is a wonderful restaurant, prices are very reasonable and food is delicious! The chef/owner studied French cuisine in Yangon. After eating local expensive cuisine the last few days, we were glad to come here and enjoy various dishes cooked to perfection and fresh fruit juices extracted with a juicer. Must try this restaurant! Just off the main road in New Bagan. 09/03/2017

Fantastic food in a gem of a restaurant located slightly away from the main road in New Bagan. I went with a group and managed to try a variety of dishes - all of which were cooked to perfection. Top choices include their hot and sour soup, beef peppercorn steak, honey pork loin, spicy fried rice, and Myanmar red wine. Service was excellent, prices extremely reasonable and the owner was very helpful. Will definitely be visiting again!

Amazing food for an unreal price. There are both Asian and French menus. We had dinner there on multiple nights and always had a fantastic meal.

Lovely french and Asian influenced restaurant which, unfortunately, you might miss unless you happen to be walking past! Naratheinkha is just a little further than Sun Beam away from the main road in New bagan. Menu is manageably small, food is excellent (pasta especially good, chips just OK), and service friendly. Overall excellent value and more fun (and tasty) than most of the westerner-focused mediocrity on the main road.
