Unbeatable location overlooking the river from a high vantage point and so close in to New Bagan. Yes, expect higher prices but do visit once and make up your own mind.

We didn't end up eating here as it was too expensive. Bit the view is amazing.

Location is good. Can see good scenes of Ayeyarwaddy river. Food quality if fair. Price is a bit expensive compare with quality. Staffs are polite and helpful.

Good local food restaurant overlooking the river. Food is decent, prices are decent, staff is friendly. The only downside are the mosquitos and bugs that fly around. But thats the price you pay for a riverside restaurant. (Wifi is also pretty good here)

Lovely restaurant with a high variety of good food. The waiters were extremely nice and we could enjoy a table with view to a golden pagoda. After dinner, we were invited to a traditional marionet show, that was fun and entertaining. Highly recommendable!

Location is charming, with pleasant views of the river and ample space. Our waiter was attentive and friendly.

The food however was diabolical, to compound matters the head of staff was incredibly pushy and kept reiterating that service was not included in the final bill. This was after we barely touched our food. He remained hovering while we finished our drinks, made the whole experience awkward and unaccommodating.

Upon our exit we tipped the waiter for his friendly service, but would not return or recommend. Such a shame, for the views and location they monopolise are lovely, and the general staff were great.

Came to Si thu expecting a great meal. Servers passed us as we waited patiently to be seated with no greeting, i live in Asia so I wasn't expecting great customer service. We finally seated ourselves, grabbed our menu and waited 30 minutes to even get a drink order in. We finally ordered our food, 2 hours later and still waiting for the rest our food. Me and my wife didn't order anything complicated but fried rice, grilled chicken, soup and some noodles. The chicken and soup were first to come out and talk about bland. The grilled chicken was one of the more pricier meat dishes on the menu so I was expecting something special. When the chicken came out it was nothing but dry morsels of chicken breast glazed with a cheap teriyaki sauce. There chicken soup that was served was a watered down version of Tom yum, except I've had better Tom yum from an instant packet mixed with hot water. If you have nothing but time on your hands and like waiting hours for crappy food than this is the place to go. I reccomend one of the food shacks on the side of the road, you'll be better satisfied.
