This place is pretty close to what the locals eat on a daily basis. It is a little pricier than the vendors by the road, but you are paying for the cleanliness and service. This tasted quite close to the ones we had where the locals dined.

Seeing the comments we were excited to go and eat here but to be honest it's overrated, very touristy and not authentic at all!

Hands down, this is the best meal I had in Myanmar. Beautifully prepared meals, extremely safe as they use purified water to cook, the flavors are just right with just the right amount of flavor and oils. The service was the best I had as they filled my tea and gave me seconds on my rice without having to call the waiter.
The menu is simple as you have 5 meals to chose from.
La Min Thit is located behind the market in New Bagan. It's a bit of a walk but since it is off the main road, it is quiet and their is no dust.
Great food, wonderful service, with a beautiful atmosphere. Simply a must if you are in Bagan.response / report this review
